Canik customer service issues so far

Thanks to Scott and @divisionarmsllc , the problem is solved. The staff are courteous and helpful, and might have helped talk me into an additional purchase while there. Not that I take much coaxing. I highly recommend Scott and crew.
@divisionarmsllc is a great LGS and have always been good to me.

Another update. Today I got a Fedex package from Canik (Century Arms) with a guide rod and recoil spring in a small zip lock bag. Since I figured they had my gun by now, I wanted to make sure they didn't send me a parts fix to install in my gun. (I automatically assumed a guide rod and recoil spring would not have fixed my issue, by the way.) I called Canik and while on hold, I saw a packing slip under the Fedex address label. It was addressed to me, but with a serial number that didn't match my gun, nor the backup SFx (not Rival) I bought from @divisionarmsllc . Canik guy after some investigation confirmed that part was not for me. They'll send a label for me to send it back.

This gets curiouser and curiouser. I'm really not down on Canik, so don't take it as such. I haven't shot the backup pistol yet.

They want those cheap parts back…seriously?

$16.99 MSRP on their website. 😂

Even if they have a real good Fedex contract, they already blew their budget on sending it to me. I can send it back first class for about $2.50.

The greater mystery is how they picked me to send it to. This sounds like my thread about looking for my bucket of practice golf balls all around the cart while holding the bucket in my left hand.

I bet they shipped the pistol to some guy in Toledo Ohio.
