Anyone have any experience with these? Saw a M1-9 patterned after the M1 that looked interesting but have never seen one in person. From their website looks like they make numerous different guns. Thanks.

I'm kind of surprised no one here has anything on these. Italian company with a wide variety of guns, been around for quite awhile. Saw something about some of the parts being plastic on the rifle, so didn't want to move too fast.

Chippa is all over the place. They usually don't make the firearms just import them. They do have some they make in house. So model A from 5 years ago might be different from model B of today.

I'd been tempted by the 9mm M1 Carbine, but I kept hearing bad things like not being able to get a whole mag done without a jam. Shame, because an M1 Carbine in 9mm would hit the spot.

And because of the changes to accommodate 9mm, it's really more like an M1 Carbineish blowback rifle than an M1 in 9mm. And sort of pricey for being that.

I hear you. Guess I will continue looking for a deal on a Keltec Sub2000. I like Keltec, I know Keltec -just liked the look of that rifle. Rifles are like women though, looks ain't everything!š

Heck, build an AR9, parts are dirt cheap. If you weren't over the border I'd probably put something on the trade blanket, I've got AR9s coming out my ears currently lol

I kick my ass almost every week for moving to Va -just over the firearms laws. I'm glad I got out of the ratrace of RDU and being in business there before covid craziness hit and the world went sideways.

I ended up with the best of both worlds and relocated to Reidsville, mostly by accident. Far away from the RDU mess, not in VA.
