Like Chihuahua Floyd, I will use one if I’m wearing a suitable cover; easier access than pocket when sitting, easier than waistband when wearing a seat belt, and better than fumbling under a coat. I have one from Chief Jason that carries vertically.

I’ve been interested in using one when I can wear an appropriate cover, but many of them seem to be horizontal carry, and something about flagging everyone around me doesn’t sit well. I’m sure it’s fine, just not for me. If I could find a good rig that hold the pistol vertically Id consider it.

I've got a double I use pretty much all fall and winter, it is a Chief Jason also

I've had a horizontal and you still flag when drawing. At that point flagging others is low on my attention list.
Oh, no doubt. But it’s the general “walking around and sitting while there muzzle is flashing everyone behind you” that doesn’t sit well with me. And let be clear, this is a >me< thing. I’m not casting hate on those who carry this way at all. It’s a personal conviction.

And I also agree that when the chips are down, flagging people will be the least of my concern. It’s just those times the chips ain’t down.

I have a galco lite for the 43x. I don't use it a lot but I like having the option. It sees more use than a lot of my other setups.

I replaced the mag carrier for a double from galco to help balance out the weight.

I have a shoulder rig for my G19. If I'm on long trip the shoulder holster makes it easier to draw from a seted position. Think of holsters like a set of golf clubs. Different holsters for different situations

For the vast majority of situations they take a back seat to belt carry. But they are really good for those cases where the use is appropriate.

While I prefer the full size Miami classic that little rig is a much better value-per-dollar. Also concur on the mag pouch.

Miami classic think Galco for the SIG-250
Also one for the Ruger Super Blackhawks never
know when you'll need it. Actually was my back up when hunting, normally did a lot of hunting with handguns, TC Contender, 357 Herrett or 375 JDJ. Mainly most hunting was in brush / wooded areas.
