Thanks for all the responses. Now I just have the job of choosing one that will be a good rifle and pistol suppressor.
While this is a fine idea for simplicity’s sake, and very versatile, it may be disappointing from a performance standpoint-
There are fans that do it all, but they tend to be larger and more robust, and do not tend to perform as well as dedicated cans.
Also, with most Browning designs the barrel tilts, so the weight of the suppressor can cause cycling issues. However most modern suppressors have a Nielsen Device, a Linear Inertial Decoupler, that allows the pistol to cycle reliably.
Most rifles do not have the Browning tilt barrel design so their internals are different.
As written above, you are probably better off getting at least one of each.
Additionally, while a 30 caliber can can be used on say 5.56, make sure it is rated for this, as the explosive and hot gasses, known as Dragons Breath, tend to be destructive to the can’s internals, and the dragon’s breath has more room to wiggle in a 30 cal can being used on a 5.56 rifle.
A lot of modern cabs use InConel and Titanium internals so this is not an issue.
Also, no matter what, from date of purchase you have a 6 month (if God really likes you) MINIMUM wait, right now closer to 9-12 month wait.
So get the right cans, don’t cheap out, as in 9 months to a year your bank accounts will have recovered.
