It didn't show there a match being scheduled on the 14th either, so the whole thing is a little suspect.

I did try your "5am match at the Fuquay Sheetz station" but everyone seemed to run away before I could score my hits. Would not recommend.

Dean does, or least used to do the web page. Not sure if he still does or not. I used to check it and let him know. Now I figure if it’s wrong fewer people show up and WE GET TO LUNCH SOONER.

Which is really the whole reason we shoot matches. right?

Damn straight. Wife is out of town, so no reason to not go all out on the post match luncheon....

Had I not gotten stuck in "everything needs 3 shots always and forever" mode on that last stage when it was not required, I could have beat one of the PCC guys! Now that might have been better than lunch. Maybe.

That hamburger had to cost at least a dollar.
 
I want to shoot this match. I'm not up to speed with my knee but a 70% forecast in January is nice. However, if I declare I'm going...its going to get rained out. So...maybe.

I think I'm out. The wife reminded me that I said no more competition till the doctor says i can go back to work.
I guess I'm bound by my own word, or I'm being played.

My ears are still ringing from standing too close on one stage. It was loud and had a significant muzzle blast even in the overcast daylight. The shooter wielded it pretty well, though. I had one in an M&P Compact and I don't really want another one.
 
Well, y’all....
Got my range gear all dusted off, renewed my IDPA membership, downloaded PractiScore and signed up....

And one of my best friends’ dad has passed. Funeral is Saturday.

Maybe I’ll see y’all next month....

Sorry to hear that. But, some things are more important than shooting competitions. Come on out when you can.
 
My electrician called me and said he could make it out to prep my service change out today. I had to withdraw and work. Those of you who know how difficult it is to wrangle sparkys these days, know you drop whatever is going on when they're available...

Electricians are invariably the hardest trade to come by for us managing property.
