Cooper just lower the gathering number to 50 ... I bet Clay’s got more than that there now ...Well, where else are folks going to go? Everything's done shut down
(If I didn't have to work, I'd be in there more often too )

I literally drive past there 2-4 times a day. I have to say that I have demonstrated remarkable restraint since I moved just two miles away last year.Well, where else are folks going to go? Everything's done shut down

I've been panic buying ever since Sandy Hook...I literally drive past there 2-4 times a day. I have to say that I have demonstrated remarkable restraint since I moved just two miles away last year.
I walked in last week, picked up some targets before heading to the range, got in a longish line, and one of the guys I know hollered from across the counter, “IS THAT ALL YER PANIC BUYING TODAY OLD MAN?” I replied, "Yes thank you, I did my panic buying last week.”
You too? lolI've been panic buying ever since Sandy Hook...
Sure do, that another reason I've been pointing folks their way. We were attending a church across the street and regularly saw the long lines an hour before they'd open. It was because he was selling whatever came in, at the same lower than normal prices before the shortages.Remember back in the 2012 panic at their old store on S. Main?
Almost no one knew about them a few locations ago.I used to go to his location prior to that one also, but I didn't experience frenzies at it.
Y'all keep me posted. I'm in the hood as well.yes, and yes
My vote is Red Barn for morning chow, and Abbey Rd for beverages since they have my favorite suds on tap.
and no.
LOL
The first thing I bought from them was in January 2008
This is the way.I've been panic buying ever since Sandy Hook...
First time was July 08’.. was working at John Deere, our assembly line got shutdown due to a parts shortage & a temp I was working with said “Hey let’s go check out this pawn shop”... About the only folks working back then was Clay,Tommy & one or two others.

The new location gives me an excuse to stop by Sheetz for a slushee.Live not far from them as well and used to work even closer, kind of miss the days of driving to their old spot, don’t know why but always liked it there. No complaints on the abundance of goods now though!
If I throw one Budwesier can in your yard it means we’re meeting for breakfast the next day. If there are two Bud cans it means we’re meeting for beers the following night. Tuesdays are $3.50 NC beers night at Abbey Rd.Y'all keep me posted. I'm in the hood as well.
Not to derail the thread, should probably open a Fuquay/Apex/Holly Springs M&G thread.Damn if there is a pile of us in close proximity. I’m a few miles down the road as well.
Best. Wings. Ever. Not to derail the thread, should probably open a Fuquay/Apex/Holly Springs M&G thread.
Apex Wings would be a good lunch spot as well, AFTER the plague subsides.
I’ve only been there for lunch, is she the long haired smart assed blonde?Best. Wings. Ever.
But we have to go when Britanny is waiting tables after 5.
Best. Waitress. Ever.
Britany works at 5. petite, dark hair. One of my kids went to Apex High with her.I’ve only been there for lunch, is she the long haired smart assed blonde?

You aren’t going to Abbey Road anytime soon. Quarantine sucks. If I throw one Budwesier can in your yard it means we’re meeting for breakfast the next day. If there are two Bud cans it means we’re meeting for beers the following night. Tuesdays are $3.50 NC beers night at Abbey Rd.
Their first location was in the tiny strip mall and they were in the far right, wasn't it?
I can see the entrance in my head and was thinking there were some other businesses in there as well?
I bought my first brand new Glock from Clay. The trusty 19.
One has to wonder if they, like others, will even survive this. I hope so.You aren’t going to Abbey Road anytime soon. Quarantine sucks.

Clay used to do the Ral gun shows and always had the least expensive Glocks and ARs. My 14 y/o son got his first hunting rifle/center fire in 2008. We went in for clay pigeons because Wallyworld was out. He spotted the Sako grip logo on a L579 Forester (I’ve a stainless/plastic M75) and asked to hold it. It fit him perfect, and still does at 6’1” @ 210lbs. We walked out with his new .243 sporting a Leupold VX scope, Timney trigger, steel bedded rifle for $600 out the door, Clay threw in a bipod and gun sock. That rifle has been feeding our family since.Correct, and the Mexican Restaurant on the left side of this rough looking strip mall is very good. I have been doing business with Clay since his start at the small pawn shop. I am truly happy for him and the success he has had as he has grown. He does things the right way and service is always top notch. I do miss the old days when I could come in an dicker over prices with Clay especially on the trade in/pawned guns.........I got some super deals on S&W wheelguns back in the day.
I, for one, applaud this kid...by age 19 he has already accomplished being a thief, fought the law (but the law won), lied to the man, gone into unlicensed pharmaceuticals, and took joe bidens advice from the inside of his car. At age 19 I was just still trying to get women to notice me...

Last I checked (last weekend) they had a decent powder selection. Some Titegroup, some Longshot, some Bullseye. Not sure the current status.Do they have any pistol powder?
Drove by Sunday and it was the most busy I've ever seen it. The road all the way down the Kohl's was lined on both sides. The lot and street wasn’t nearly as crowed today at 11 when I drove by as it has been the past week.
Yup, we'd started discussing a local M&G, then I never followed throughThe most interesting part of this thread for me was finding out how many of y'all live near me....or how many of y'all I live near.
Yep, and the previous five days. I was surprised to see so fewer cars today, although it’s not like the lot was empty.Drove by Sunday and it was the most busy I've ever seen it. The road all the way down the Kohl's was lined on both sides.
