A few buddies and I are starting up a new hibachi style food restaurant in the 40/42 area of Garner. We are very close to opening and would love the support of this community in these tough times. I understand that this is a VERY bad time to try to open a restaurant but the cash outflow started before this situation and now inflow is "essential"......

With that said, we do have a drive-thru, and a parking lot that can accomodate any size group of people.

Don't mind the gun grabber signs on the front door....(Just kidding)....this is Johnston County, carry proudly.

I will update to when we plan to officially open, but it won't be long.

The name is Hibachi USA. Don't hesitate to grab a selfie in front of our 30 ft flagpole that holds our 6x10 flag. 60 sq ft of freedom!!

Best of luck bro
Youre not very close to me, so I doubt I'll have your food. But I do wish you lots of success!

I wish you the very best @Murph XIII. When I first graduated from college I took a restaurant head manager job and my store was being built as a first of its kind for the company. If you can postpone the grand opening until travel restrictions are lifted I would do that. I will not go into detail why grand openings out perform soft openings in the long haul but low turnout also drives up food and variable cost.

Well now! We just moved into the area back in January, and drive right by there every day. I'm not an asian food type of person, but knowing this, we will definitely be coming by! I would also recommend reaching out to Lannie Godwin with Triangle Open Carry over on Meetup.com; I'm sure he'd love for the TOC folks to lunch there when the current life-crisis blows over...... https://www.meetup.com/Triangle-Open-Carry/events/269380283/

OH Boy! If'n you can give Kanki a run for its $$, I will be there and often! I loves me some Japanican (American "Japanese" ) food. Please let us know when you open. Where exactly in the 40/42 area will you be?

We started this thing back in January. A whole lot of cash outflow since then. I wish I could wait, but there are too many hands in this.

We are right behind the Wendy's. Right next to Ruby Tuesday. Keep an eye out for the enormous stars and bars!

got a website or menu yet?
Website is in the works, and we're working with a limited menu right now, just because we dont want to slam the fridge with food and get some bad news from "Commie Cooper" and watch money spoil. So we are working with steak, chix, and shrimp along with a few different apps. Also a little something a little less conventional, but I can vouch that it is amazing!

Teriyaki, white sauce, and ginger sauce all made from scratch. I know I'm biased, but the food seriously rocks.

Hot food, hot. Cold food, cold. People with a servants heart. Clean place. That's the basics. Be active in the community.

Look at what Black Rifle Coffee has become.

Run with it.[emoji106]
