"...NRA released on March 23rd says that things are tighter at the NRA than they’d admitted.

Due to low fundraising and the loss of their convention, the NRA is slashing all staff salaries by 20% or more. Additionally, they’ve let go of an undisclosed number of staff entirely.

Wayne LaPierre will also see a pay cut, but that number was not detailed."

They could save millions by reducing the amount of spam letters they send in the mail alone. No, I didn't want to renew my membership a month ago and I'm not doing it this month either.

They could save even more by just foregoing the poorly-made membership gifts, given they're cheap China crap anyway. I've always turned them down, after seeing how lousy the ones other members got were.

Also, kick Wayne out.

why people still give that scam of an "organization" money is beyond me. or have their stickers, patronize their training etc. Old Wayne has scammed everyone royally & no one seems to be able to get him out.

Hopefully they slash and burn their marketing budget and start attracting members by actually fighting tooth and nail for 2A rights rather than by sending crap bags, pens, hats, jackets, etc that no one really wants.

Hopefully, they will cut him back from one new suit per day to one new suit per week.
Blue jeans and T shirts. Maybe some bib overalls and work boots. New underwear every couple of years, or whenever he wears them out.

Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of him on a range anywhere. What's up with that?

Would be nice, but probably wishful thinking on our part!

Totally agree and that’s why I don’t entertain the idea of financially supporting them. I’d rather (and do) donate to FPC or SAF who take chances challenging anti-2A laws.
