Show me your targets, people!

I was able to get the S2O to Calibers a couple of weeks ago, I am not normally able to shoot tight groups beyond 7-10 yards. But the CZ makes me look much better than I am, this is 6 mags at 15 yards.

For reference this is 6 mags center mass with my G17 & headshots with my G19 at 7 yards.

Did a little more load testing with the 6.5 Grendel at 100 yards.

25 yards with the first time outing of the new CZ Shadow 2. Not great, but I’ve done worse.

I had a much better target with the P01 I got from @fsj80 but forget to get a picture.. Go figure. Maybe those compact CZ75’s just fit me.

Let me know if you want to sell that innacurate POS.

Did this little group today in about 3 minutes testing out some new grips on dads Dan Wesson. Bought it for him Christmas of 2018 and just now was the first time I’ve ever shot it. I don’t like the look of rubber on blued guns but I certainly love the feel.

The day was mostly about the p238 and the 1911 in .45. I hope to use those in matches in the next few months, and wanted to see where my one-handed shooting was. I think I did ok!
I need to get pics of the p238 targets.

Also gave the G19 some 2-handed rounds. Not ready for the one-hand on that thing! Or a match with it......yet.

The .45 is a bit of a handful when shooting it with my left hand, but it's not like I'll have to shoot dozens of rounds like that in a match (I hope!)

All in all, I was very pleased with my shooting, since it's been almost a year since I shot the p238 with one hand, and I think I had never shot the .45 with one hand. LOL. Practice, practice!

9mm therapy today at TSA in Raleigh, M&P 9mm, Beretts 92S. I let a woman and her son try the Glock on the last target.

I shot The Test at 15 yards today with a 1911. Needs improvement. Slow with misses. LOL

BONUS TCM22 9R barrel in my Glock 22. :) This is LOUD and what a ring of fire. Will bring it next trip to Battery Oaks.

You can use my phone and I'll get you a copy.
Great....my current phone is dying and if my new one doesn't show up in time, I'll be grateful for yours. I can't even get wifi on mine now....poor thing!

What model did you purchase?
Samsung Galaxy A10E.

Tracfone emailed me a week or so ago that my phone will stop working soon, because its not 5G or some such, and sure enough it's doing what the previous one did....except that one lasted 5+ years, and I bought the current one in August '19....dang!

Background........... Back in the late 80s I was shooting a lot of pistol matches, mainly PPC, in a local law enforcement league. Time changes everything and the league sorta went another direction after I was no longer active. I've always shot/hunted but nothing serious until a couple of years ago I got involved in an on-line competition with .22 rifles and have spent the past couple of years trying to punch little bitty holes in paper. A month or so ago, I had the wild idea that I could get back into PPC but found there was no one local I could shoot with but found a law enforcement league in SC. I dragged my old PPC gun out which I hadn't shot since 1998 and am preparing to at least travel and burn powder. I must have taken the rib off of it at some time to give it a good cleaning because the elevation was way off but I spent a little time and got it back to where I can try and fine tune it. Needless to say, 20 years takes a toll on old eyes and I hadn't shot irons in that long but I'm still going to try. This was my target of 11 rounds at the end of my work time, shot at 50 yds. Unfortunately, they won't let you shoot off a bench and bags in competition but at least I know the pistol will still shoot. Looks like just a little tweak down and I should be there.

Went shooting yesterday morning at ProShots near Winston-Salem. I was mostly dialing in a little .22 for an upcoming match there, but I brought a box of .38 in order to run Dot Torture with my carry gun.

Shot at 5 yards with the 642-2 (stock except for the old Uncle Mike's Spegel Boot Grips and some front sight paint). Ended up taking about six-and-a-half minutes (reloading Comp I loaders without a loading block is not fun). Shot a 48/50, dropping two rounds at the weak-hand only stage (dot no. 4 has a double in the center impact).

I hadn't pushed Dot Torture past 3 yards with this revolver before, but cleaning the test at 3 yards had gotten routine. So, I wanted to see how it would play out at almost double the distance. The 2" dots are a little wider than the front sight at that distance. Considering my weak hand's wobble zone with this trigger, I'm amazed three rounds ended up in dot no. 8. Pure luck. The rest of the test was not much more difficult than shooting at 3 yards, so I'll keep working weak-hand dry fire until I can clean 5 yards.
