This is in the open forum. Please keep it clean.

I miss eating out at restaurants.
I miss going to non-essential stores.
I miss touching my face.

I miss driving to work
I miss driving home from work
I miss eating a crappy sandwich for lunch every day
I miss looking over my shoulder while I fill up my gas tank
I miss junk mail, spam and telemarketers
I miss waiting in lines for every-damn-thing always

Naaaahhh I don't miss any of that crap! Aside from the "you'll die if you touch yer face" thing this is how I want to live!
But I do miss shooting. no joke.

To be more, real:

I miss my drives to work
I miss sitting quietly at my desk with the hum of business going on around me
I miss being able to turn around and ask my boss a question, or give a co-worker a good ribbing, and vice versa
I miss taking time out of the day to go to the gym and work out for an hour or so
I miss my wife not being stressed out because she is trying to work and homeschool, and my attempts to help are borderline useless
I miss eating in restaurants
I miss my kids having birthday parties both to have, and to attend

But...to brighten things a bit:

I am enjoying cuddling with my 3 year old to help get him a nap in the afternoon
I am enjoying watching my kids learn
I am enjoying my wife hone her culinary skills and can now make a mean meat loaf
I am enjoying a slight "no rules" diet
I enjoy waking up and walking 10 feet to my "office"
I enjoy having my dogs around all day

I miss hugs from the people I care about.
I miss my freedom.
I miss going to the range a few times a week.
I miss being able to lean on my bff, but she needs me to lean on right now.....

On the other hand:

My typing is improving a bit.
I do have land I'm allowed to shoot on. (And I just had 1,000 rounds of 9mm come to my door!)
I can still take drives to get out of the house.
I can still meet people, though now it's at food store parking lots to chat at a distance.

I really miss the gym.
I miss shooting - I could go out back if down in SC, but we are up here in the Containment Area :(
I miss the lack of beer virus politicization (we had plenty of other kinds already).
I miss freedom, but we got a puppy a couple weeks ago, so that was already toast anyway :D

I don't mind working from home - it has pluses and minuses, and is mostly a wash for me.

Where's Jeppo? He seems to miss a lot:D

A fiend has a wonderful S&W 66 that he loving refers to as Mrs. Jones (“we got a thing goin’ on”).

I’ve named my 66 Mrs. Mostly. :(

I HATE having to eat lunch in my truck. I just want to sit down by myself decompress for an hour and go back to work. One of the positives I'm getting very little bitching and complaining from drivers, I guess they are worried about layoffs and want to stay off the poop list.

Unrelated to the current panic, I miss my friends back in Conway.
I miss going to work. However, when I think of all of the stuff that they've been going through, I don't miss it that much, after all.

Wow this got me kind of realizing how little my life's changed at all. Still going to the same job with the same people and working the same hours. Im a born social distancer anyway and as a bonus, no cops to worry about on my commute so cruising speed has increased about 10-15 mph....When all this is done, ill def miss that! Good luck to all of you. I hope life goes back to normal soon for all you folks.

I miss being able to fly out to see my grandchildren.
I miss the continuous calls for service and meeting people.
I miss being able to find parts and supplies for work.
I having a craft beer with my wine bar friends.
I miss a great prime rib from my favorite steakhouse.
I miss friends coming to my home to visit.
Mostly I miss not seeing fear of job loss and business closure from my friends and customers.

Things are different for me but not much has changed. Main thing I changed is not going in the truck stop for coffee.

Might have taken a couple trips up the mountain if not for this mess.

As much as I hate to say it, I miss Greenville traffic. It’s nice not having to deal with it. But this has to change soon.

1. the Salvage Shed at our landfill. used to pick up good things others didn't want. closed now. wife happy.
2. all the "Goodwill-type" places. $0.50 DVD's and $5.00-bag days. locally, they're closed, too.
3. taking guests to the range. none allowed now. members and family only.
