Things I Miss

Eating bats.

I miss knowing what day it is. I miss being able to make a plan in my alleged downtime because if I do I catch someone else's shifts. I miss being able to just walk in a store without all the ridiculous cattle herding BS they're doing. I miss common sense and not closing the country down for a 1. 5 percent fatality rate. I miss the new world order not being in control of everything and no longer working in the shadows.

In other words, you miss the reason you moved to the USA in the first place.

Honestly I moved to the USA because I loved a woman. Not the smartest reason I know. I fell in love with the USA once I got here, and neither of my loves stayed true, sad to say.

This isn't the same country I arrived in and I only got here in 2002. I can't imagine what some older natural born Americans have seen fade away.

I came here in 1998 and I have the same issue.

I miss going to the range and shooting.
Do miss not being able to see the new grandson. Have only seen him once since he was born in February.

I have always been some what of a "social distance" type person. So not being around people is fine with me. I have never liked going to parties and that type stuff.

So yea life is good. Spend time doing stuff around the house and working a problem until fixed without trips to Lowes. Trips very limited at this point.

Sometimes I think that the legal immigrants are the ones who really see and feel the changes. I know most of the sheeple don't, or just don't care.

Awesome point here sir. Awesome point.

Aww, sorry to hear it, but I feel that way sometimes....

I actually miss going to work. Wife and daughter are stuck here with me, and we sometimes drive each other crazy. I’ve got plenty to do on our little farm, and have made improvements. Everything decided to give birth all at once, and it’s kept me busy. Fixing to go out and build another rabbit hutch.

Miss going to the range, although I’ve got places on my property to shoot. I’m ready to go back to Battery Oaks and see everyone. It’s just not as fun to shoot by myself!

I was supposed to be going to the symphony (Virginia) beginning of May and that is being rescheduled. Still no new date scheduled. Going to be Star Wars. Yes I like the symphony and my favorite music is classical.

Take a drive to Wagram...I've got steel coming next week...my first steel.....YAY!

Did you get iton ebay? I've been really happy with everything I've gotten from the guy on there I use and the 30 percent discount on 2+ items is nice.

I’ve been raving about this guy...where u been @Millie? ;)

His steel is about as cheap as I’ve found (mostly, free shipping which counts with heavy steel) and he occasionally offers crazy discounts (buy two items, one of which can cost so little that the discount is greater than the cost of the cheaper item, etc.). He normally ships quickly and I’ve never had an issue with his steel. The plates last more or less forever (could that be because I don’t hit them much?????). I guess I’ve bought from him 5 or 6 times.

You did buy AR500, right? You have considered how to angle the steel down at least 22 degrees (to reduce what comes back at your face), right?

I think it was your post that got me started buying from him. Now there's several plates on posts on the land and more I need to put up.

Today, my family.

Usually my whole family is together for Easter, but not today. Dang CV19

When this first came out, I could not for the life of me think of anything I missed. But I still click on the thread every time I see the avatar.

I may be old and slow, but I get there eventually. :(
