No, not me. ;)

I don’t own a pistol in .22, and probably ought to get one. One of my sons wants to introduce his girlfriend to firearms. I don’t think she’s ever held a gun. I have a 10-22 rifle we could start her on, but I was also thinking pistols, however she has REALLY small hands.

Any suggestions that might work for her and not be totally useless to me and the boys with larger hands?

Glock 44 maybe? Do they run?

I was also going to say sr22 or p22.
sr22 is basically a copy of the p22, though by most accounts a better gun.
my small handed wife has no problems with the p22, and my sister and her daughter have no problems with their sr22

The G44 does run. The grip is identical to a G19 so, it may be a little fat for small hands.

SR22...agree.
But it's a da/sa not a striker like the glock. So if you want her to go right to sa with the first shot she has to pull back the hammer. Thumbing the hammer can be challenging for tiny hands.
But I've taught 2 tiny ladies how to shoot using the SR22. They both liked it so much each one got their own.
I've taught many people using the SR22, not so much for the .22 part, but rather how to use semi-auto's. I think it's the best lil' 22 in the class. Ambidextrous, adjustable grip, accurate, eats most ammo without complaining, da/sa (so they learn about hammers and all that) and it's easy to load and use and clean.

Another small positive in favor of the Ruger is that they’re located right here...in case it ever hast’a go back. Mine had issues and they turned it around and back to me overnight.

I am with P_V, Walther P-22 and it is light weight being some carbon fiber.

Sure... is this why you run single stacks?

My BIL has a Walther (P22 me thinks) that their family enjoys, the grip’s too small for me.
When I was a bachelor a lifetime ago I used to take girlfriends to this little indoor range in Greenville, SC and rent 1911’s to shoot. I think there was one girl who had trouble racking the slide, but beyond that they could operate them fairly competently once they got used to them.

Okay...let me don my flame suit here.

I hate DA/SA triggers.

and a hush falls over the room.

They do take some getting used to. If you can keep in your mind that the second shot will feel much different, you can do it.

I’ve tried to like them. Sigs, CZ’s...
Heck, I don’t even own any wheelguns at the current time, although I have had a few nice ones over the years.
I wish that Glock in 22lr had the slim frame like the g48, 43, and 43x.

The P22 taught me how to clear malfunctions. :D

What MacEntyre said: Ruger Bearcat. Being single-action it is a good teaching tool and not intimidating. Nice SA trigger too. PM me if you want to try mine. Also @Sharps40 has a nice .22 SA revolver in the FS section, small, but not as small as a Bearcat.

Replying to my own post, I would add - if you are determined to have semi-auto, the Browning 1911-22 is a really nice piece for smaller hands, if a bit spendy. You can try mine.

Didn't the LCP II recently come out in .22?
I’ve got an LCP II .380 and while I find it to be as, or more, reliable than my other wee .380’s, and with a decent trigger, the sights are dreadful and I can’t hit the inside of a barn with it outside of 7-10 yards.

Smith and Wesson 22 compact. I believe it’s 85% scaled down from the full size and they run good. I have the older full size and my wife shoots it fine and she has really small hands but the compact would be better.
That’s the one I was gonna suggest. The M&P22C.
