I’m new to the variable optic game on an AR. I picked up one of the trijicon accupower scopes from the primary arms Memorial Day sale. I would like to get a QD mount for it like ADM

I see there are a few different options like recon and 20moa options. The recon says it’s for high power optics, which makes me think it’s higher to accommodate the large objective which I won’t have. Can anyone else running a 1-4 on an AR tell me which ADM mount is best?

There are several different models of Recon, there are offset ones, high mounts, low mounts and +20 MOA ones. I highly recommend getting the offset one for any LVPO and if you never plan on getting a 50mm+ objective optic then you don't need the high mount.

just remember I said 'lightER'...the Ti version of the Recon is still over 8 oz lol

I wish I could get it without the QD levers. That would be perfect for my needs. At any rate, it looks great.

I’ve been extremely pleased with the Warne 20 MOA 30mm Mount (I’ve used the same model on several different builds) , it uses nuts to attach the base rather than the QD levers and it weighs in at 8.96oz??? (Amazon shows 8.96oz but Warnes website & optics planet say 6.7oz), several people that I know picked up the same mount after seeing mine and for $119 it’s a bargain for the quality.

This is the model I’ve been running on the past few builds.

You can check out pretty much everything they make at their website, they have QD mounts like the one I linked above, you can get anodized colors on most of their stuff as well.

They are popular in 3 gun. They are nice mounts, indeed.

I wish there were more lightweight options though. My Aeros are like 2.9 oz!
