Sixshooters Gun Show in Wilmington, NC this weekend (May 23-24, 2020)

Sixshooters will have a gun show this coming weekend at the Elks Lodge in Wilmington, NC (5102 Oleander Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403). If the dealer mix is as it was this past weekend at their Albemarle show, it will be mostly gun dealers, some private sellers, a couple ammo dealers, a couple holster dealers, etc. There was very little fluff this past weekend. Sixshooters is generally pretty choosy on types of things sold at their shows.

We are going to make the trek. Anyone else going?

Joe said something to me on Sunday about this, but I cant do it. With nowhere to stay and not making enough profit to afford a hotel, I just cant.
Maybe if I still had my old SUV and slept in the back of it lol

Really liked the 6 Shooters Show and would love to do another in the future!

Set up this evening. There are more FFL dealers here than last week in Albemarle. Don't know a table count, but has a high percentage of gun dealers. 80ish tables, maybe? Hard to eyeball, as the layout of the room is different than the average gun show. At any rate, there are several gun dealers in there, two ammo dealers, Osprey Global optics, two holster dealers, and at least one private gun seller.

Had to have a mask to check into the hotel tonight. Everything was fine until three other people came into the lobby, waiting to check in, while my boys were loading our luggage cart. The hotel owner went through the roof about too many people in the lobby, you have to have masks, etc. The other three guys left. I had some masks in my briefcase that were a gag giveaway gift for buying a gun. I had the boys put them on and bring me one, which I held in my hand the entire time. I got checked in and went to my room with mask in hand. Crazy times.

Crowd was okay, but not nearly as large as I thought it might be. We didn’t sell a whole lot, but there is always tomorrow. What seemed to be selling for other dealers was sub-$400 handguns.

Worse for me. Crowd was probably similar.

Didn't see either. I DID get a shooter grade 2nd Model Hand Ejector .44 Special last week at Albemarle for a good price. I don't like the 2nd Models as much (no one does), but this one will be a fine range gun, nonetheless.
