Thought this might be amusing especially from some of the folks that served.
In college I needed to be home one Sat morning, but wanted the spend Fri nite with the girlfriend. It’s only a 3 hour drive so hung out until midnight and then hit the road. In a small town in northern IN I stopped at the only light in town, there was no other traffic, and I promptly fell asleep. Officer woke me up, said he’d been watching me for 5 or 6 light cycles, determined that I wasn’t drunk, and let me go on.
Incident yesterday is really why I started this thread. Came home after work, made a cup of coffee and sat down to chat with the wife. Exchanged a few words, took a slug of coffee and fell sound asleep. Woke up to a barely warm cup of coffee still in my hand, and a mouthful of coffee. Let me tell you, waking up with a drink in your mouth is disorienting! Apparently I dozed off before swallowing. Wife was amused, said that it kept me from snoring.
So, where have you spontaneously napped?
