Protesting...nah, criminal activity is getting out of hand

I asked what’s up in a different store. Folks there said (this is how rumors get started) there’s protesting in town center. Down the street groups are throwing rocks at passing cars, several other stores are shutting down.
All because of a murderous cop in Minneapolis?!?

No. They are shutting down because of rioters and looters all over the country. Not because of a murderous cop.

None of this has anything to do with the choke out.

But plenty to do with the lack of personal responsibility in a certain "community".

My son in law is with RPD and one of the officers last night took a brick in the face and busted three teeth. SnL patrol car was damaged window smashed out fenders kicked in, not set on fire though which is surprising. He had to go in at 3pm again today and is quite sure he will be called off his normal area to go downtown again.
 
Nah, my own. Maybe you would like to stand out there and catch a brick or a glass bottle in the face.
 
My two favorite moments in the show so far have been:
  • the Seattle TV station's security guy taking a stolen police AR from a soy-boy protester
  • the "white police horse" that trampled a "peaceful protester" in Houston (the rider was black)

The WM on S. Main in High Point was shut down today due to riots. We left High Point and came to Goldston to bet away from the BS....

Now they’re threatening to bring it to the suburbs ....

THIS happened on "Designated Survivor" with Kiefer Sutherland. He united with the black female mayor and won over the crowd...then chose her for his VP...then she tried getting him impeached......

Yea its getting sporty out there! Philly is on lockdown with road blocks and bracelets if your out when your not supposed to be. We had to bail out a manager from getting locked up on her way home due to the curfew. On top of that I had a 2am visitor that spoke no english sitting in my driveway diddling his device. He was harmless but I had no idea and use no lights when I go investigating.....Im sure he cleaned his drawers when he got where he was trying to go. Dumba$$ shouldnt be out exploring while the city is under threat!! Most people have NO situational awareness!!! There was little sleep last night and Im sure the same for tonight.

Credible threat, or an attempt looming, to burn down the aquarium. It was built to resist PETA, it will be fine.

A car has been identified as having a scanner and listening to police. I am really curious about this because police are on an encrypted channel that uses frequency hopping. A radio shack scanner is not going to pick up the channels that are being used.

Car tried to run from a traffic stop, car went to address it was registered to. One occupant is now going in and out consciousness. Coincidence?

Another car with Florida rental tags got stopped with 5 occupants. Two pistols were stored illegally.

Charleston looks to be on a P25 system, the only encrypted talk groups I'm seeing are for County CID and City SWAT. The rest of their talk groups are standard p25 digital. A radio shack scanner maybe not but plenty of Unidens and the like will decode them just fine.

All Walmarts around here are closed until further notice. They completely destroyed downtown/skibo/bragg blvd area.

Many businesses in High Point and Greensboro were vandalized. In Greensboro, mostly on Elm St, Cheesecakes by Alex had their windows boarded over and the rioters even smashed the windows on the Woolworth building :rolleyes:

It should really drive people nuts when the cops won’t do their job and stand down and watch this happen and then turn around and “arrest” media and people driving home from work for violating a curfew.

and just recently threaten and actually arrest people for wanting to go back to work.
Blame church goers for the spread of wuhan and now let people do as they please, certain people that is.
 
So schools have been closed for months and the police will not protect people and property from the violent protesters. Exactly why are we still all paying property taxes? Wonder what would happen if I sent them a credit memo instead of a check this year? I could add a note explaining services were not rendered so either are funds.

Facebook took down the page for the MI lockdown protestors but are they allowing the thugs pages to stay on?
Yesterday, Facebook took down Antifa's page but haven't read of any other posts taken down.

...so if they're just 'basically standing back and judging' then how is that disrupting anything?

Rioters blocked two roads in Hickory. One uptown and an area called Springs Road. Even small towns are not safe. I’ll be upping my magazines from the many hundreds rounds to all full. I’ll be adding an AR to the truck today when I get back.
 
Just saw a threat on Facebook against the Angel Oak Tree outside Charleston SC. Some people here might think I'm one of those "social justice warrior" posters... but not this time.
 
Walking through the airport last night heard some new reporter say “and you’ve got to remember that the 6th leading cause of death for young black men is police brutality” and I knew with great certainty that the facts no longer matter.
 
I guess it not such a fun time for all the millennials that's live in the downtown areas:D. I guess their still in the center of the action! ;)

Well...I am kinda starting to miss the "Tiger King/TP Shortage/Eat All the Snacks" stage of this year.

What >has< stuck out to me blaringly is that just a short time ago, people gathered at the state house to protest for their right to open their businesses up, re-open churches, and end the lock down. Not one shot was fired. Not one business burned. Not one car overturned. They were called domestic terrorists by the media, lambasted on all social media as uncaring morons that were going to kill us all by spreading the corona, and were shunned by the entire left.

Yet...now gathering in massive crowds, burning businesses, marching in the streets, blocking traffic, beating innocent people, throwing rocks through windows, and destroying towns is "just a valiant outpouring from an oppressed people that should be supported and praised for their bravery."

The media has been one-party, one-sided, and marching to the Marxist tune for years. People need to just start turning it off. It cracks me up that the major networks have all been repeatedly lying and being proven wrong about Trump’s supposed crimes for almost 4 years but ignorant lemmings keep tuning in and buying their crap. I thought maybe after the second lie and false story people would catch on, but nope. They are hooked and dragged in the boat again. Fools.
