Can I leave my ears at home, the last time we met up that one rifle made my ears ring for a couple of hours.Might be a good place for me to take the 10.5” Beowulf (with a massive brake) for its initial test run.

That was a 7.5” 5.56. My 16.5” Beowulf is actually worse than that...so I can’t wait to see what the 10.5” does. Can I leave my ears at home, the last time we met up that one rifle made my ears ring for a couple of hours.
I have no doubt it is worse. Earplugs and muffs. That was a 7.5” 5.56. My 16.5” Beowulf is actually worse than that...so I can’t wait to see what the 10.5” does.
Hed advise them that that's not the way to run their business & tell them how they really dont have the insurance they think they do.Right, that's why every single military vet is blind and deaf.
I'm also not seeing where a large cadre of folks here are promoting restricting their rights. What might be pertinent is they are active and vocal about dismantling the government, country, and middle class and that might make folks a little nervous. Where would you fall on defending the 2A rights of some violent group that actively worked towards destroying minorities, queers, and other progs?
The police have actually killed people. People who should not have been killed. And while there doesn't seem to be a disproportionate number of murders based on race (not that you can tell from news coverage).... ask yourself this. If you get pulled over by the police, and you are asked to step out of your car, do you worry that you're about to die? They do.
One of my best friends is Mexican. He recently had his car broken into at 2am. He ran out in his underwear and the guy ran off, he chased for about a block. My friend called the cops to report it and two cops were on scene before he was even back in the home.
The questions they had for him were ridiculous - what's your DOB? Where do you work? How long you been there? Why are you in this neighborhood? (he owns a home there, its in the historic Ardmore district). Again - HE CALLED THEM.
They said he looked like a gang member.
That's some BS.
Im not saying this is a common thing, I dont know, but one time of overreaching cops is too much
And while at the root the ANTIFA folks have similar views (anti-commie etc), they arent living the same. They want to shut up anyone who isnt like them, and that's been evident for a long time.
say his name three times and he'll show up at the next crisisI miss David Hogg

Oh, absolutely notHave had similar incidents myself, and it shaded my view of police for a long time.
I've also had quite a few negative interactions with black folks and homosexuals, but judging the rest of them based on that wouldn't be quite as acceptable, would it?
Not that you are banging the race baiting drum, but it's funny how many folks are incapable of seeing their own dichotomy when it doesn't suit their outrage. There was video going around of some fat incel POS going full in on the "down with patriarchy" feminist nonsense while some women described being raped, that is, until one described her rapist as being a typical "religion of peace" supporter, at which point he flips his lid, calling her a racist POS. Hell, we had a member here saying he wouldn't lose sleep if something started happening to police families based on his negative interactions with them, but the world would cry foul if I made a comment along the same lines based on race, sexuality, etc.

Im not in the 'one bad apple spoils the bunch' camp. More of an anecdote that followed the above poster's point.
Yeah, I got that from you, just kind of rambling.
Police profile people based on how they look. Black guy with dreads and pants halfway down his ass? Mexican in baggy Dickies covered in tattoos? White kid with liberty spikes and a tattered leather jacket? Backwoods Bohemian looking weirdo in a nice part of town? Not one race is immune from judgment based on looks. If you're wearing a costume used by those that often like to play criminal, you're going to get treated like one.
Except for some people the profile is nothing more than the color of their skin. To believe otherwise is ignoring the facts.
I think I will be saying it to the people they are railing against (corrupt authoritarians).
