So, forget support from the Roberts’ Court on our Bill of Rights, given the Court’s present composition.

So, where does that leave you and me?

The Globalist puppet masters have been utilizing, of late, Radical Left Anarchist groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, along with the common criminal class, to rain havoc on our Nation—to soften the Country up—encouraging rebellion and insurrection, even attempting to destroy public faith in the police. And it is all by design.

The last thing these Globalist puppet masters want to have to deal with is internal police forces and an armed citizenry, in the midst of a civil war these puppet masters have, themselves, fomented. They are neutralizing the police, but they cannot so easily neutralize an armed citizenry; and if they cannot do that, they cannot win this civil war.

The last sentence above is the money quote.

Most of the traditional conservative fear mongering that goes on assumes without any basis that the ONLY two options are a nationalist statist centrally controlled "patriotic" centralized political entity, or a tyrannical leftist totalitarian marxist centralized political entity. Dissolution is viewed with hysterical fear, horror, and imagined conflagrations of lawlessness violence and chaos. This leads to visions of terrified people begging the government to step in. This is why there is the never ending yawlping about the CHAZ stuff and the major cities mess. Pfffft

THIS COLLAPSE (IN THE CITIES) IS GOING TO HAPPEN NO MATTER WHAT WE DO. It is also completely irrelevant, and the constant braying of the hysteria mongers that this is going to be repeated outside these insanity zones is just plain laughable nonsense. If we see this as an opportunity to exercise local power and stand up to the lunacy, these people will fold like wet tissue paper. The whole apocalyptic screed of UN suited goons going door to door is predicated solely on passive sheep who will just meekly submit. This kind of stuff takes time to stew, but when it gets to critical mass, would be tyrants who were threatening to nuke gun rights advocates suddenly find they think just ruling over their little fiefdoms is better than confronting pissed off, armed folks in Huckleberry County somewhere.

We are seeing a gigantic shift in public opinion, which consists of 1) distrust of the propaganda organs of the state 2) awareness of the need to have means to defend one's self 3) skepticism about the rightness and ability to seek security by external military actions 4) jaded cynicism about the guilt mongering collectivism proposed as the way to deal with social problems. If there is a genuine shift towards a renewed awareness that men have rights which are God-given, that will be the key. When we make the connection that it is no less important for me to defend my immediate neighbor's God given rights (life, liberty, property) than it is to defend mine, we will have a revolution without firing a shot.

I find it hard to reconcile your thread title with the Heller and McDonald decisions (which took place under Robert’s leadership and with his support).

Yup, understood

The thread is titled after the same title in the article.

However, the following should / may shed some light on your view;

Why, then, did Roberts and Kennedy agree to join the majority in Heller? We think that this says something about the force and indomitability of Scalia’s personality and intellect: something lost when Justice Scalia met with a deeply tragic and clearly puzzling death. And Roberts has no intention ever again to lock horns with another Justice who has the indomitability of spirit of Scalia.

It is now Justice Roberts’ Court in fact, not merely in name. It is no longer Justice Scalia’s Court.

id rather scotus NOT take up 2a issues until a real conservative joins the court - roberts is clearly a douche and once precendent is set- forget it.

but then again im at point where i dont think it even matters anyway since we're prob short on time as a nation anyway.

bingo. Then Chairman Mao's old adage will be the one that interprets the law.
so you're saying it may be time to bury our guns in the event that we need to leave behind instructions for others on where to dig them back up?
