High-tech shooting range OnPoint to open in Raleigh on July 1

Right around the corner from the local Home Depot. BTW HD is a gun free zone for associates and in your personal vehicle. Customers are welcome armed.

I agree the more places to shoot the better for our sport, but serious question here what makes the different from tsa? I mean they are in the same area right they must have had to consider what would make them stand out, anyone know any inside info?

Our company has been in working in there a while. I’ll check tommorow to see if they are going to open on the 1st.

Husband and I just joined. For us it is all about location. It's literally only 10 minutes from our house. I have never been to TSA, but OnPoint is offering more technology options on the range and in their "Challenge House". I think it's like a laser shooting on crack (my words and interpretation of it's description). We figured the membership price and no initiation was worth checking out. We can cancel any time, so if it sucks, we'll just cancel. I'll be sure to update if anyone's interested.

Will somebody please give us 100 yards again? That virus is clever, it only spreads at the county range.

BP, waiting on you to get a membership there and inviting your old friend (me) up to shoot!

$60 a month...I don’t have the time to shoot that much...I would like to test drive it though...

If I was interested in shooting static in a range I would be all over this. I will be checking out their facility for sure and I'm excited about some of the tech they are using.

So what is different, like, does it have a shot timer on that ipad beside you or what?

You may want to check out their website, they seem to have more fancy tech gadgets than you usually get. Tough time to open right now.

Does anyone remember David's gun shop and range that was behind that HD?
If so, what happened to them?

Are you referring to Davie's? They first moved to a much better location and then closed down when the owner retired. I think their ange gear was actually taken over by Eagle One.

Autocorrect.. I bleeve it was pronounced Davi's. She was off of Six Forks road, moved off of Fall of the Neuse with an indoor range, then behind HD.
Then they suddenly closed.

I think we are talking about the same place. They had an accident on their range, closed the range and then the owner retired or something like that.
