I finally put my RRS speed loader to extended use a few days ago. It works fine. That's not the reason for this post.
The pusher (or whatever it's called) doesn't stay with the table very well when I'm trying to store or move it around. It gets aggravating. I decided to attach it to the plate, but how? MAGAnets. That's how.
I thought about a tether or a hook to hang it on, but I didn't want to have anything sticking out of the plate, to be bent or broken off when moving it around. I also didn't want a string or chain attached to the pusher while I was trying to use it. So, magnets it is.
I already had the magnets from another project. I just drilled the holes a tick smaller than the 1/8" bit provided, so I could tap them in and be sure they are snug. The magnets are plenty strong enough to hold this light weight pusher in place when moving the speed loader from point A to point 7. Yeah, I can bop the plate on the floor longways and the pusher comes out, but my wants were for it to be there when I grab the loader and move it to the bench.
