Any source of good grilling/smoking meats in Lexington or Thomasville?

I have been buying from box chains all this time and thought maybe there's a deal to be had or quality to be gained by going to a local butcher? Anyone do this regularly? I'd also like a source of fresh fish to grill, but I think that's stretching it given my geographical location.

Where do you grill masters get your meats around here?

I've heard good things about Cedar Lodge Market, 237 Cedar Lodge Rd. In Thomasville.
They do a really good job. Shuler's is kind of big box store discount grocery type stuff. I haven't bought from Colonial but have heard good things.

Now don't get me wrong about Shulers my wife shops there but not for prime cuts of meat. If I want a big thick steak Cedar Lodge is where it's at.

Farmers Market on Sandy Ridge Rd. is another option not really local but there's a guy there with some of the best pork chops you ever eat.

Shulers is good
Also, Conrad Hinkle in Lex has some tasty steaks
