Reservations to get in unless you are there when the doors open at 5pm and then you can eat at the bar. Best steak you will ever have. Get one of their three heritage steaks and split it with your partner. I recommend either the bone in angus ribeye or the wagyu if that’s your preference. House salads for each of you and split the potatoes au gratin. If you like martinis, I caution you to have just one. Your welcome!
Across the parking lot from Frenchy's Rockaway is Palm Pavilion. They usually have a nice performer there with beach-y style music. You can watch the sun go down into the marine layer, or if lucky, set completely.
In 2010 or 2011, my company sent me to Tampa for 4 days. They put me up at Innisbrook Golf Resort. Our CEO was a member and on some board there. The suite they gave me was bigger than some places where I have lived. All food there was covered as well as 2 drinks per meal. I never left the property until the shuttle took me back to the airport.
Downtown Tampa is an odd place, Friday and Saturday nights were dead, Sunday night there were people everywhere. We ate at the Columbia Restaurant Saturday night it was good but nothing crazy. Wife had a couple beers at https://zydecobeer.com/tampa-zydeco-brew-werks-food-menu she said the Blind Barbara was really good. Sunday night we ate at a place called Oak and Ola that was amazing https://www.oakandola.com/. It was in this very cool building call Armature Works, old warehouse with nice high end restaurants on each corner a huge open court yard and walk up food court type places in the middle. https://www.armatureworks.com/.
