Pistol Picture Thread

I got two new sets of Mammoth Ivory grips in this week. Both have Blue Stain. Decided they needed to be on Nickel Government Series 70 guns..............

While I was taken photos, I could not resist adding the Gold Cups to a photo too............

PXL_20210708_182332758.jpgMy little Kimber 45. I just put a new retro thumb safety on it because the original extended safety would flick off occasionally when I drew the pistol out of a particular IWB holster. I like the retro style safeties anyway and have put them on several other 1911 pistols that came with extended safeties.

I like to share somewhat rarer items. This is a Pioneer Polish PM-63 rebuild. I took a chance on it, paid more than I wanted to, but I think it was a smart buy. The stock is pinned closed, as is the front pistol grip, so it's just a semi-auto pistol. The coolest part is that top of the gun is actually a slide.

Thought this was odd, and it doesn’t matter to me one way or the other but I got this notification that my thread was moved. We’re moving the “pistol picture thread” to the Wheel guns section? What gives? @Chdamn @Butter @Geezer

At the time I only had a few 7.62 x 25 rounds - but it ran well.
Didn't think the mag well was big enough. One I had was in 9x18mm Makarov. I was also low on ammo for mine. About a dozen rounds but fire with stock extended and in semi/auto. Course mine was acquired in Baghdad 03'
