Here’s something interesting that is discussed on Twitter right now (hat tip Edward Dowd).
There was a monkeypox preparedness exercise held in March 2021.
Apparently, it “simulated” a start date of a pandemic, to be May 15, 2022.

They had it on WRAL this morning. Only 2 confirmed cases in the US and they reported it was difficult to spread.

Belgium’s three confirmed cases of monkeypox have been linked to a large-scale fetish festival in the port city of Antwerp, organisers said Friday.

Several European countries have reported cases in recent days, and the World Health Organisation is investigating whether some outbreaks spread within the gay community.

In Belgium, the Darklands Festival warned patrons who attended four days of parties starting on May 5 that Belgian authorities had linked three cases to the event.

So far, Belgium has only publicly confirmed three cases.

“There’s reason to assume that the virus has been brought in by visitors from abroad to the festival after recent cases in other countries,” the festival said on its website.

“The Risk Assessment Group of the federal government has asked Darklands to inform its guests about these infections.”

Darklands is a ticketed event that describes itself as a collaboration of clubs and organisations employing 150 volunteers and hosting daytime commercial events alongside evening parties.

“The various tribes in the gay fetish community (leather, rubber, army, skinhead, puppies…) come together to create a unique spectacle of fetish brotherhood,” the site says.

Monkeypox is not usually fatal but often manifests itself through fever, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, chills, exhaustion and a chickenpox-like rash on the hands and face.

The virus can be transmitted through contact with skin lesions or droplets of bodily fluid from an infected person.

So my question is it a hoax being used to play us into fear again and just in time for Biden to vote our sovereign control to the WHO next week? Did someone see this hoax and think it was real and purchased the 13 mill vaxs? Anyone need more toilet paper yet? Not sure how to take this. I did hear it from a Pharmacy today (where I had gotren my titration of ivermectin last year) who is totally in belief as I.. he started the one drug on the market I will add pic if below so I don't misspell here) will become the new sought after drug and banned just like ivermectin was. After hearing monkeypox was "coming" from my friend yesterday, today I hear this from guy in pharmacy, then quick search of the term reveals oh yeah- it's trending. Go figure I turn boob tube on and would you guess what movie is playing..."Outbreak". You've got to be kidding..

One of those scarring moments you experience on 4Chan’s /pol was when I was scrolling down and one anon posted a pic which looked like it was a guy in some sort of bondage outfit carrying a naked guy over his shoulder with the opposite side arm buried almost up to his elbow in the guy’s rectum. I didn’t click the thumbnail, so I don’t know if is was a parade, or if he was just walking around a festival like that. But as a general rule, you want to steer clear of people like that. And be careful when scrolling down 4Chan. Some things seen, cannot be unseen, even if just a thumbnail.

I am going to save my answer to this question for the end of this article and instead focus on what monkey pox is, the nature and characteristics of the associated disease, what we know and don’t know.
