Has anyone here picked one up or run it? Reviews all over seem either nothing but praise or it could be better. I'm not looking for a comparison to a 509, just wondering about your reliability and any issues. Seems a few people have had great luck running them suppressed with both super and subs. Pic for attention

I have no experience but I’m looking to buy one. As soon as I find one local I’ll report back.

I'm looking to pick one up as well and probably will soon. Wondering at what level my expectations should be set or adjusted as I won't be running it suppressed right off the bat.. Sportsman warehouse so far is the only dealer I've talked to semi-local that can get one here by the 10th (wnc area)

I picked one up about a month or so ago. I have probably a couple hundred rounds through it so far both suppressed and unsuppressed. Mostly shooting CCI standard and CCI suppressor. I have had zero issues with either. The only issue I’ve personally noticed is that with a full 15 round mag inserted, you need to slingshot the slide rather than hit the release. There’s to much tension on that first round of a full mag to seat it fully unless you use the slingshot method. I swapped the sight out from the vortex to a holosun and now I need to get back out and zero the new sight. Overall, I love mine. I recommend it to a friend who carries a 509T and he picked one up and loves it as well. It’s a fun one to play with and accuracy has been a real pleasant surprise out of mine.0EA318CF-73EE-43A6-8D79-D15E12E99387.jpegF35B1B23-D0C7-4084-8354-713FBD7DAAFC.jpeg

What are you getting for accuracy @ 15-20yrds?? Any ammo prefference? Planning on ordering one this week-

My uncle picked one up and we ran 500 rounds of 8 different types of ammo through it. It ate everything we fed it with zero issues both suppressed and unsuppressed.

Here it is next to my 509 tactical

I will be picking one up for sure. Hopefully I can find one when I pass through TX in a few weeks

I want one as well, but the only ones I have found want 200-300 over msrp. Did you all get yours for 499 (or better?)

Got to get one, I'm a rimfire snob, but in a good way.

I paid $479 for mine. I’ve seen a couple around at different shops but it’s hit or miss. I’ve also seen them for $999…

@GTX30R @Traceround @Button Pusher do anyone of you Gentlemen have an optic on yours, have you experienced any issues with the optic getting loose? My Uncle has had to tighten his optic on the last 2 range sessions.

1st session we put about 500 through it and the optic got loose towards the end. Second time we got through about 200 before it started working loose again.

It was installed per Fn specs, which are vague to say the say the least. Gives no torque range and specifically says to not use thread locker. I have a 509T and have not had any issues with my optic loosening so far…

So my first optic I didn’t have an issue with. Upon switching to the Holosun 507CGR my buddy and I with matching set ups both had the same issue. The beveled screws for the holosun mount/setup appear to be just a hair to long and will work them selves loose. Both of us switched to some shorter screws that were in the provided kit that weren’t meant for the holosun (didn’t have the beveled taper to them) but both of us have had quite a few rounds through the pistols since then with no issues and some great accuracy. He ran about 500 rounds out of his this weekend.

Thanks. We’ll give that a shot.

I want one, but not at $1K!!! I have a couple of 509s that I like a lot. The 502 checks a bunch of boxes out of the box…not 10 round, optics ready, threaded barrel. Went in one shop on Saturday and they had one, but sold it on Friday! 🥲 None of the other local shops that carry FN have had any come in. 😞

I hadpaid $469+tax before Sportsmans Warehouse decided they didn't actually have any more instock and refunded. Have not been able to find one since. Everyone I'vd talked to has them on order or the distributors show incoming but currently out of stock. I have seen several for $799+ online and rapebroker...

I literally have 30rds thru one from a fellow range member shooting a 2L with no optics.... as soon as I get one I plan on rmr.

Just an FYI, I think FN just issued a recall on some of these guns. Something about a safety being improperly installed or something. Che k the FN site.

I still want one of these, but also looking at the new Sig. Is it true the 502s are not actually made by FN?

These are not made by FN, they are made my Umarex in Germany. However it is a fantastic pistol.

I’ve got just shy of 1,000 rounds through mine (both suppressed and I suppressed) and it has run great. It has eaten everything I’ve fed it so far.

Extra Mags are finally available for it, and it “feels” like a full sized pistol. I highly recommend picking one up, you won’t be disappointed.

I’d give the Sig some time to work out the kinks before picking one up. I’m not a Sig hater, in fact I love my Sigs, trust them with my life. However they do seem to have some issues when first released.

I am shocked… but on the other hand the 502 has had a recall and it’s own function issues on a larger sample size.

Can’t say I’m surprised. I think all new firearms need a time to work out the kinks. So strange as I haven’t had any issues with mine.

I will start to have issues when I get around 400-500 rounds without a cleaning. It’s a 22 and I’m running a can a lot of the time, so I expect it to get dirty.

I am not a big 22LR shooter but to me the really poor QC on 22LR ammo contributes to a lot of the problems we see in 22LR pistols. 22LR ammo is a race to the bottom. It makes it hard to sort out what is a gun issue and what is a ammo issue. I don't use 22LR for anything but plinking so a few failures here and there are not an issue for me.

I grew up shooting 22s, and now I really enjoy shooing them with my kids and family. I have moved on past the super cheap bulk ammo tho. I have some, and I always test new pistols with them to see what they'll eat. However I mostly shoot CCI, or a little higher tier ammo than Winchester, or the bucks of gold. It's cleaner, and just runs better.

I use a CMMC 22 conversion for my ARs that is really nice for simple mechanics drills (up-downs, first shot times off the beep, manipulation drills, etc). You can get a ton of reps in, without breaking the bank.

This is the first 22 pistol I've really been able to train with as it doesn't feel completely different. The Ruger Mark series are fun to shoot, but just feel so much different than what I typically shoot. I had a GSG 1911 that I had upgraded, but it was still unreliable. I have a SR22 for my boys that's fun, but feels so small.

The 502 actually fits my hand, feels very similar to a 'full sized pistol' and has a dot, in the right location. It's a win-win.

finally picked one up. Was going to go with the P322, but I like the feel of the 502 better and I have a 509 already so it makes more sense.

Anyone try this ammo in their 502? I have come to the conclusion that my gun hates it. Sucks because I have a pretty large stash of it and can pick it up any time at wal mart. It eats just about everything else but I have a ton of issues with this ammo.

I've put a lot more rounds through mine, well north of 2000 i'd guess. I love it. I'm hoping my erector can gets out of jail soon (216 days and counting). I'm really looking forward to shooting it suppressed whenever I want.

Yup, love mine, and it get shot ALOT.

Love mine! As does everyone else that shoots it!

Are you guys primarily running it suppressed? If so, which can(s) are you using?
