Movies That Make You Cry

The end sequence in The Last of the Mohicans causes me to sob uncontrollably as soon as the deal is struck and the music kicks in. So sad and beautiful.

Great movie and awesome musical score. I am convinced the music during the opening sequence of the movie is the same music that was played when they buried Moses.

in no particular order..

Saving Private Ryan (end graveyard scene)... my last view was in a hotel room just after the death of a close friend... the combination of the two broke me down like never before)

Ending Scene in A River Runs through it... The aged Norman Maclean and the word in the background

Ending Scene in Dances with Wolves, where the Wind in his Hair is on top of the mountain expressing his feelings for Dunbar

and...

Le Miserable s Jean Val-jean (bring him home) movie, stage, or video clip of performance, but IHMO the OG did it best

and 25 years later he still has "it" but Alfie Boe does seem to blow them away.. note in this clip AFTER singing the part on stage...

none of these by themselves can get the full reaction.. it is the culmination of the story well told ....

flame on...

Movies based on Nicolas Sparks Novels. He's another one who kills at least one key character.
They both die in the end of The Notebook.
Kevin Costner is killed in two Sparks based movies.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.

The Notebook always gets me.

I have seen Les Mis now maybe seven times live. That musical is full of tear-jerk moments. But the anniversary on PBS where all the Jean Val jean's come on stage? Yeahhhhhhh......

Not a movie, this post

Doesn't take much nowadays it seems 😅, granted dogs and what not almost never do it, but I'm a suckered for a good story.

Les Mis had me bawling by the end of it just the other night.

I saw Les mis on broadway when I was 18 and have seen the musical movie adaptation many times. Always gets a reaction from me.

Watching “the great escaper” right now and running out of tissues dammit.
