I dunno ... I wouldn't kick this lady outta the garage for singing the blues (though you might prefer that yellow Italian model behind it).

Some dang nice vettes these fine folks posted. That green one is sweet.

I don't like the blue much, but it's better than the yellow. The yellow says, "I'm going through a mid-life crisis and need people to look at me - so I'm spending my kids' inheritance!" LOL

Let’s be honest, a corvette in any color says that.

Yeah my favorite sports car if all time was a 1990's Ford Mustang 5.0 fox body convertible iirc in Forrest green with grey trim and tan leather interior with matching top. I walked past one at a county fair as a teen and fell in love.

Kid a year behind me in HS has what could pass for this exact car, forest green convertible gt with the silver top and lower
Guy about 3 years ahead of me had this color combo in a GT

I have a huge soft spot for typhoons, that color combo was the best they produced, aside from monochrome white.

I don’t really like Mustangs either (aside from a 69 Mach 1). I appreciate them for what they are but never cared to own one. I’ll cover you while you reload, things about to get spicy. 😂😂
Don’t feel bad. I have never liked the
Looks of ANY Mopar sports car with the exception of the Viper.
As for Mustangs, Fox body’s, around 2012 models and the newest ones are my favorite. I would have ordered a Darkhorse if I could have gotten it quicker.

Lol, That’s what I told my kids. I’ve pretty much always had a sports car or a sports bike. Like any red blooded American I like speed. I’ve had 6 corvettes in my lifetime.
Plus what most people don’t realize I can buy it a lot cheaper than a diesel truck if I wanted one.😁

My buddy, who lives outside Asheville, bought another M8 Competition this year, with all of the bells and whistles. He's older and has a hard time getting in and out of it, LOL. Does nothing for me. I'm not a 'car guy' but if I was going to buy a car for a toy, it would be a '65 Chevelle or '67 Cougar. I think the 1950's and the newer Corvettes are awesome looking (not a fan of the Stingray type bodies), but they're not my style.

I don't think I have ever seen a shade of yellow that I would want for a car
I absolutely agree on the current yellow colors. GM had a Yellow in the mid 60s, I think it was called Butter Nut Yellow.....Lotsa Novas and Chevelles in 64-65.....I always thought GM hit a home run with the 64-65 Chevelles and 66-67 Novas....also ALL cars went to Helll after 1967....a bunch of Hump Back looking Uggmobiles.

Good thing you didn't walk past that tent with the Hermaphrodite in it.....wonder what happened to the Old Hoochy Coochy Show girls???
I remember my first trip to the Madison Mayodan fair hoooo weeeeeeeeee doggie

But the official Corvette racing color is yellow………But blue is my favorite color. Never would have thought of red seats but that pic does look good! Enjoy!

The new yellow has a slight green tint to it. It honestly looks like a white car that someone took a yellow hi Lighter too.
Being a honky, I had to stick with the red, white and blue. I’m a damn proud “Merican!!!!!!

I'm glad to see the Corvette market coming back to reality....Last year Eddie and I went to Greenville, S.C. to pick up a 2019 with LOW miles. They had at least 10 c8s and all were marked up 20-30 Over MSRP. About 6 weeks ago we made a trip to Greenville, N.C. to pick up a 2012 Boss 302 with LOW miles on it. The dealership had a 2022 C8 Red In and Red Out with 1,550 miles on it for $68K....so it looks like everybody that had to have one got it.
We tried for 18 months to get one and I was Not going to pay $20-30 Over MSRP. Along the same line, New Broncos here are Still selling for $20K Over.....I bought 2 for Sticker and was Very disappointed in them. I sold both back to the dealer and he resold them for $10K Over sticker....

The used C8 market has really came down. They are still those guys that think they can get 15-20 over MSRP. I’m tried of waiting but before I over pay I’ll wait it out and get it the way I want it. The car I order is pretty much a base car but it will be a new car OTD around 70k.

This was a new in the lot C8 I found in New Bern. Once I seen it in person that’s when I decided I didn’t like the yellow. It had about 4k with of options I had no use for or wouldnt have ordered. There out there, just have to stay on it. The 2390 was additions add in by the dealer that were worthless to also. He di mark up 1k over MSRP but he had one that anyone could buy. Took 8-9 days to sell it.

While getting our CRV serviced at Stokes Honda, a salesman approached me about buying a new CRV for only $6,000 over list, $4k market adjustment + $2k for overpriced add ons... I asked why the markup and he said people will pay it, so we ask for it. I said no thank you, only a fool would. Two weeks ago, while getting my F-150 serviced at Palmetto Ford, new Broncos were offered as low as $4k above list for the 4 doors to $15K above list for well equipped sought after 2 doors. Told them no thanks...His response someone will.... not me...

He’s correct for the time being, Those buyers are disappearing. Other sales are hurting, most Manufactures Are starting to offer below MSRP and special financing to move vehicles.
My son last week went to buy a used minivan for 40k. With 750+ Credit score they could only get him 8% on 60 months. SECU was around 7 on a 69 month used vehicle,
He went to Ford and ended up buying a new explorer for a little under MSRP for 1.9.
SECU is at 4.75 on new vehicles and that about the best around.

Same here... Five Mustangs, two Corvettes, a HD Fatboy, Honda F4i, and a 67 SS 396 Chevelle

We were buddy’s until you mentioned the HD😎. My experience was with a AMF Harley, swore to myself in the 90’s I would NEVER own another.
100% Stuck too it,
Everything else on your list,, I would be proud to drive:

EDIT: As long as the Mustang wasn’t a Mustang 2😎

BYW got the call today. Elkhart blue is now on constraint for 2023 models. Should my number pop up I would have to pick a new color.
Told them I was fine waiting for the 24 model with a new blue called riptide. As far as I can tell it’s about the same.

Will this be the riptide blue of ~2005 era?!?!? If so, YES!!!!!

Searching now. I know it’s coming on some of the GM EV’s for 24

Riptide was a limited color I think they only used in 2005 or so. it was deep metallic blueish green with with heavy pearl. I was after a riptide blue Escalade years ago, absolutely beautiful color.

Edit.. not the same riptide from my searching.

Did you get your car yet? Mine is off for PPF until next Thursday, then three days for ceramic coat.

Well, still nothing. Couldn’t get a allotment for 23 so now it’s a 24.
I have deposit at 2 dealers now.
One car is riptide blue with black interior and the other is good ol red with black interior.
I’ll going with who gets me in first.
I went against the red seats in a blue car for the simple reason that I love the combo but I think I would rather see it at a car show than in my garage.
Also there’s a better than average chance that I’ll get tired of the car between 6-12 months and the normal color combos will probably sell easier.
