Thought I would score a few bucks off with an open box item, sold by amazon claiming that the box was damaged but the product was 100% fine.
They shipped it from their warehouse in AZ somewhere.
Arrived today, and the box is scuffed up (it's going in the recycle bin so no biggie) but also... the product inside is scratched and one of the parts is broken so it's useless.
Not sure how this saves them money having to deal with a return, repack it, ship it across the country to me.... only to have to take it back again and ship and deal with it at least a second time. Will they resell it to the next guy and hope they don't actually try to use it? Is that the goal, just hope it ends up in the landfill after someone buys it and doesn't use it and tosses it in the next 'new year new me' purge?
Stupid amazon.
