Hey y'all. As many of you have probably noticed in the BST, I am going through the process of paring down my firearm, accessories and ammo collection solely both to guns I shoot regularly and handloading components for loads that I have already developed, as I am satisfied with my current results and I've got other things I need to focus on than further load development. For the most part, the last little bit of components I have are the following:
220 of these funny-based 170gr .308 bullets
500 of these 173gr US .mil .30cal FMJ Match bullets
The former (left side of picture below) I frankly have no idea what they are. Do you? I'd love to know. The latter (right side of picture below) I know are US military match bullets for use in CMP-style matches that I admit it's extremely unlikely I will take part in anytime soon, and think these should go to someone who actively shoots those matches and already has a load developed for this bullet. Personally my .308win rifle really sings with 175gr SMKs, so I'd rather have 720 more of those than these bullets for the sake of ease and consistency. I just can't find how much these bullets are actually worth these days.
The bottom line is this:
What are those funny-based bullets?
How much do each of these normally sell for?
What's a fair trade ratio to offer them up in trade for 175gr Sierra MatchKings?
Thank you in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.
