Love for the carry handle

Now I'm trying to decide the fate of an A1 upper I've had for five or six years.......
Original plan was to make a 10.5 in pistol out of it, but I also a have a 20 inch A1 profile 1/7 barrel I can mount and make a variation on the XM177 theme.
Decisions, decisions......

There are a few places in the states that carry them.
I highly recommend the triangle reticle model

I loved the reticle but the blue tint just didn't agree with me. It was very blue.

It's amber on mine, all three of them

I'd never noticed the blue tint until I just tried taking a picture of the triangle reticle..........

I'll be damned

$400 if you don't mind the X reticle. I've snagged them as low as treefiddy on sale.

Same here, but supposedly they make(or made) the BUIS for Springfield Armory and their Saints.

But don't rule out the Daniel Defense A1.5, I would recommend the RRA A4 style rear sight, but they stick it in and break it off when buy from them.....

The SBA3 knockoff was too tall and made me squirrelly.

Ok whose got a chopped carry handle they want to sale? I’ve got a vibe going

Just got the mount ordered from Primary Arms so I can mount a GLx 2x prism on mine. My eyes keep getting worse, and that prism has a diopter to fix the problem.
Supposedly the irons remain visible and useful too.

Hrm, I wonder if I could bolt the optic half of mine directly to the carry handle hole.... Might even be a good height on the low base.

So I got a QD swivel retainer plate for the teeny gun. It's actually light enough that I like it on a single point sling. This is a first for me.

So yes, it was!

A Colt (C K forge mark) upper with some fat, shiny hand guards, pencil barrel, and a salty Comp M2 on an Aimpoint gooseneck mount. Just waiting to find a lower that more closely matches the color and sheen of the upper.

As it came from PSA:



Installed the carry handle, sling mount and sling. Swapped the trigger. Felt it needed a metal mag instead of a PMag.

Pretty sure I have a set somewhere....

Ordered an Aero complete upper from the Hot Deals. Removed barrel and replaced the receiver with an A2 I picked up recently. First time dealing with GI barrel nut/Delta ring.

Which sling is that? A very handy little set up. I did something similar once with a M16A1 upper and had it set up like an IDF rifle. It was amazing and I regret parting with it

I’m debating about doing a blood diamond/BHD movie rifle with an A2 upper I’ve got just need to finish building out.debating between running it as a pistol for a bit or just biting the bullet and SBRing from the start
