What do you use the grease for?
Green beans. Forgot about them, did you?Frying up eggs, making milk gravy, living the good life.
Aside from the obvious ones two additional items I use it in are: refried bean dip and baked potatoes.
I just paint the outside of the potato with bacon grease and generously apply kosher salt, bake at 365F for 1 hour (you will need a tray or foil under it) for very tasty and crispy skin.
Are the potatoes left on a rack to cook or do you wrap them ?

Popcorn..For those that still make it the old fashion way, use bacon grease instead of oil, you will never go back.
I'm gonna have to pick up the next batch o' bacon. My wife has been buying that turkey bacon. It doesn't smell like bacon and there's no grease left over for the stuff I like to cook with it.
