This is a very fun 3-gun match hosted by the NCPCPL, a group led by LE who have been doing matches since the 1970s. Even though it is historically LE, everyone is free to participate. I'm not LE, and I've been doing it for 4 years now.
It's really 3-gun 'light', as it is not overly gear intensive. Typically there's only one rifle stage (though it is tough with shots from 10-200 yards). The rest of it are pistol/shotgun. The only bit of gear you'll near are slings for rifle and shotgun. The reason is this is considered "training", and you wouldn't throw your gun on the ground. Same goes for things like no burning extra shots into the berm.
It's a lot of fun, a great bunch of guys, and a way to get some practical skills. You'll need two mags of .223 (no steel core), about 30 rounds of birdshot, and 100 rounds or so of pistol.
