Yep. Supposedly Stickman took it 6-8 years ago. It's a closeup of the oxidation/smelted copper/etc on a Surefire QD muzzle device. Some guy posted it in a discussion on ARF and said he's been using it as his wallpaper or something.I'm gonna guess a macro shot of a metal deposits on a muzzle device. Whadda I win?
I've been cutting out some carbs and sugar but I'll make an exception for that beauty, I'll pick it up at Battery Oaks in Oct.Yep. Supposedly Stickman took it 6-8 years ago. After 2 years of sending the gun back and forth a dozen times, fighting with the manufacturer, and finally having the entire receiver and feed mechanism replaced, it works. It basically took the threat of legal action to make mike otte get off his butt and resolve the issues.
And no, that's not me chuckling at the end. This gun brings me so little joy after all the time and money wasted on it.
I'll be putting it up for sale later this month.

Got any hair left on that hand?
Yup - Michael is a condescending prick. That guy is a POS. He took full payment for a TP9 can from me a few years back and jerked me around for a few months blaming B&T. I got so frustrated that I finally called B&T and they said they hadn’t even spoken to him in regard to any B&T suppressors.
That is a really badass setup you have though!
Wait, what...........you can't leave us hanging like that give us the details man!View attachment 73480 Thanks Scott @TARHEELSTATE both M16’s run great and the HK-51 is a beast!!!!
The one with the 40 rnd mag in it is a 1964 Colt SP1 AR-15 converted to select fire. At some point in its life the front pin was converted to a small pin and a half fence was added. The one with the Beta C mag in it is my brothers It is a factory Colt M16A1 with a 10.5 barrel the cycle rate on it is amazing. The HK-51 is an SBR in 7.62x51. I am still waiting for NFA approval for the S&H sear, a couple more HK SBR’s and a couple of cans for them. Getting old sux but you can start working on the bucket list.Wait, what...........you can't leave us hanging like that give us the details man!
Sweet, I thought I read something about your purchase of a sear, perhaps it was on HKPRO. I also have a RR SP1, it's a Hard Times Armory conversion, runs like a top, one of my best friends has one by LaFrance. The one with the 40 rnd mag in it is a 1964 Colt SP1 AR-15 converted to select fire. Those of you that run the ASR, how tight do you crank down before locking the ring? Haven't shot it yet but noticed that if I go any past snug it can be a monster to get off. Can I put some anti-sieze on the threads and taper area?
Or YHM...as it's now a commercial option for the Sakers and Omega/Hybrid.If you really want to make your Omega awesome, ditch the ASR mount and switch to the Q mount or Dead Air Keymo. I have the Dead Air mount on my Saker 762 and it is excellent. It never gets stuck, even after days of 400-500 rounds of full auto. The Dead Air mount also convinced me to buy a Sandman S, which is now my favorite can.

This is basically why the ASR is annoying. It's not as bad as the Trifecta for getting stuck, but if you don't tighten it enough, you'll get wandering POI, or worse case, the locking ring can actually spin to the unlocked position while firing. This was a really big issue with my Specwar 556 K, and it went back to Silencerco half a dozen times and they never could fix it. I no longer use the can.
I found that I generally didn't have issues as long as I tightened and loosened the can a few times before doing a final snug, then spun the locking ring. As a basic rule, I always remove my suppressors while they are still warm. Not melt flesh hot, but when they cool down enough that it's borderline uncomfortable to grab the can with your bare hand for more than a couple seconds.
