What are the must watch Holiday movies at your house this time of year?
I have a few standards which are White Christmas and Christmas vacation. But one of my favorites that is sneaky good is not a highly rated movie called Trapped in Paradise. What a great cast Nicolas Cage, Jon luvetz and Dana Carvey.

Not a movie but the Woodland Creatures Christmas episode of Southpark is a must see for me.

I don't know any Thanksgiving movies, cause surely you aren't throwing Christmas at us now?

Thanksgiving specific:
Dutch
Planes,Trains and Automobiles
Grumpy old men
Scent of a woman

Full disclosure I knew Dutch and PTA but not the others.

The ones mentioned, I will toss in Christmas with the Kranks. Not a 'great' movie, it's fun and family-friendly, entertaining. Based on the Grisham short story "Skipping Christmas".

It's still a decent movie though lol

I'll add-

I'll be home for Christmas.

The Santa Clause

Jingle All The Way

The real question is which one of the 876 versions of Grinch is tops?

Seriously, did we really need another one of these?

Every Christmas season we go to a family movie; this year, the kids want to see the next Grinch. Me, I want to kill myself at the thought.

Bad Santa

I came here to post that if this movie wasn’t on top of everyone’s list as a Christmas Family classic then you all needed to reevaluate some things

The list that @Miss Lily posted, plus...

Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Frosty the Snowman
The Little Drummer Boy
Nestor, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey

There used to be an animated Christmas Carol that was good.

And, after having relatives with cable...Star Wars. The first three.

This year has been hectic enough that I'll probably go hide and hammer out the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol - Unfortunately never to be seen again. Jim Backus' estate has seen to that.

The one I'm thinking of didn't have Mr. Magoo in it - it was a "realistic" animated version of the "real deal" Christmas Carol, with Tiny Tim and all the ghosts.

Here we go:

I'm thinking this might become part of the holiday rotation:

"I don't want any f*ing sandwiches...what is it with you and fixing f*ing sandwiches?"

Miracle on 34th Street (B&W version)
A Christmas Story
Die Hard
Charlie Brown Christmas
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original cartoon)
Christmas Vacation

All those will get watched at least once.

Emmitt Otters Jug-Band Christmas

We're already on to Christmas stuff?

I enjoy the Jim Carey Grinch, I know he’s a POS but I find it funny.
How it should be. Who cares if the dude sucks, if it's good then enjoy the danged movie. "Oh no, in his personal life he doesnt like guns/makes jokes about guns!"
If we only watched or listened to Pro2A folks then it'd be real danged limited entertainment.

Forgot to add...

Personally, I watch all the Christmas themed
South Park episodes/shorts.

Mr. Garrison's "Merry F*ing Christmas" and Cartman singing "O Holy Night" (and getting shocked by the cattle prod when he forgets the lyrics) are 2 of my favorites.
