Closing up shop in early 2019.

Reckon my one reason for ever going to the mall is gone, so I can check that place off my list, unless it's for a dumpster or compactor.

Hmmm ... Sears is closing others stores also. Bad thing with this to me is Sears NEVER posted No Firearms on their entrance so that was the way I’d enter the mall on the rare occasion ... crappé!

Lowe's appears to have picked up the Craftsman line.

Yup, craftsman everything in their stores now. Didn't notice if they had the specialized automotive tools that sears had though.

There was an article a while back, Novant bought the space from them. Sears only maintained a year or two lease agreement from them. Novant hadn't committed to what the space would be used for, but Sears leaving was pretty clear.

That happened almost a year ago lol

Sears has been circling the drain for a long time. I was surprised back when K-mart acquire them . K-mart was circling the drain before the purchase ,I don't think it helped to buy them. I used to love Sears .
