Ha - the truth is probably that @fishgutzy has been too busy to post because he has been filming a new reality TV show about a fit American touring Chinese gyms.

I have been spending most o my free time at the gym now. Saturday and Sunday swimming in the morning to early afternoon, lunch break and rest a bit then going back for a sweaty hour+ of strength training.
I have been staying to myself pretty much. No contact with anyone outside of the office or the gym.
Regarding the Cupid thing. I have been playing match maker between some of the young ladies I meet and my single Chinese colleagues. :D
Also, reassuring some that at 27 they are not doomed to a life of being single despite the pressure their mothers put on them. Almost fatherly advising. I talk to them about how I met my wife and that it was purely the result of a series of decisions, that any one of which would have changed the night we met into not meeting.
If I had some American friends in China that were 30ish and single, I'd be introducing them. Americans seem to have a better appreciation for strong assertive women.

Ha. But a lawyer did ask me if I wanted to be an agent for a Chinese company to arrange a partnership with Harry's Razors. Ha! That had me scratching my head. I said no, because I have no experience in that and I would have to register. That was the end of that discussion.

No. Nice people I met. But I just had to get back to what I am comfortable with. I can't force myself to be a social person when it is not in my nature. And it is best to avoid even the appearance of impropriety. It is fun to talk about "spy candidates" but it got a little out of hand. And I fed the beast rather than stopping it.
My wife has had my heart from the day I met her in 1989. Everything I do and say should always be an affirmation of that.
