They are getting what their leaders wanted. They elected them and welcomed illegal immigration just like we have. Next up, America.
I don't like this, but I agree with it.
Another 10-12yrs or so I think it's pretty much game over for our economy unless there is a substantial and drastic change. - Even if the change is good long-term, it's going to be very bad short term.
...but more likely than not, we will end up like Western Europe. Some sort of Venezuelan-esque shenanigans, pensions and IRA/401k will be plundered to feed and house the hoards, taxes will price people out of working, production and growth will be limited to a handful of technocratic companies aligned with GovCo. The left will continue to grow more extreme and violent.
We will all be strangers in our own Land before long. We've already been defined as the enemy for a long time, and the country is shackled by insurmountable debt. Every conservative stronghold is turning blue...there is no escaping it.
I've gotten in a few conversations about retirement and wealth management lately. As the years go by, that just seems more and more like a pipedream. - At this point in my life, I'm just happy I can stay out of debt, put food on the table and a roof over our heads. I save some, I give some...there ain't much left over. That's fine, because I don't see it ending well anyways. I'm preparing every way I can. Eggs aren't all in one basket.
