Got a customer that wants an accurate. 308... so we're going to true the action, and rebarrel this sucker and give it some Hawk Hill love! And what better time to do it than when its friggin 10 degrees outside. Lol

Side note: Shop is still a work in progress, but coming along nicely.

Damn it's cold... lunch break. Lol

Since we've been freezing our collective asses off for 2 days we put the rifle on hold to add some sheetrock to the ceiling to try and keep the heat in. Little bit more shop work, and we'll get back to the fun work.

Yup. That's him
Two of the three inmates that raised him are free men now. The third, whom served 25 years on death row and has been pulling time since 1979, received word last Friday that he has been approved for parole in 18 months. He had a massive heart attack on Sunday but the AED saved him. Them boys loved those dogs and had never experienced anything in prison like that before.

That's definitely a story that goes with his personality. He's got a bit of guard in there too.

I used to run lathes back in high school. sadly the brain cells from that time seem to have moved out. most of the machines in the shop were not even digital until I left.
nice work. it seems that true craftsmanship is becoming a lost art...

Didnt forget about this rifle. Just need a new blasting cabinet before coating. May have to revert to the old fashioned way to get it roughed up. Thankfully the old Sergeant Major is not in a super hurry.

In the meantime here's another 6.5x47 that we just finished up.

And with the PMII mounted she's ready for getting a zero.

Probably going to put that AD mount with the razor on the 260 and just use some rings on this one with the S&B.
