NRL 22 in N.C.!

Is there another link for event details? the above takes me to a "register or login" page and I didn't see any matching events when I searched practiscore.com

Nevermind... found it, but it forces you to register an account to get any details on the event. No thanks...

Triad Precision Rimfire are tactical/precision rifle-styled matches specifically designed for .22LR rifles.
Matches are held the third Saturday of Every Other Month, officially beginning in January 2019 (Jan 19, March 16, May 18, July 20, September 21, November 16).
All that is required to participate is a rifle chambered in .22LR and safe gun handling skills. Magnified optics, a bipod, and sling and/or a shooting bag no larger than a volleyball are highly encouraged, though.

While these matches would be considered a competition, the intended purpose for holding them is for FUN and to build marksmanship skills. If you just want to shoot for shooting sake, that is perfectly acceptable and all are welcome.

The shooter’s meeting will commence at 830am, with the range going hot immediately proceeding. We should be done before Noon.
Match fee is $10 per shooter.

We are registered with the NRL22 League, which will allow shooters who are interested in participating in the NRL22 prize and points race to do so.
Because of this, we will also be following the NRL22 rules for our matches. Please see link below:
http://nrl22.org/about/rules/

The monthly course of fire will always be a total of 5 stages, 100 yards or less and different every month. It will be distributed one week before the intended month (example: the January 2019 Course of Fire will be released December 25th 2018) and will only be run during that month. Because the course of fire is known to all, it can be practiced, and allows Match Directors and Range Officers to participate with no advantage. So, please don’t hesitate to volunteer to be a Range Officer for your squad.

Sounds like it could be fun, unfortunately I work ever other Saturday and I out of sync until April, looking forward to hear some range reports till then..

Are you going to attend this match Harold
Unfortunately not. I am shooting a pistol match in Rock Hill that same day. If I’m able to go shoot at all...

As much as I would like to try this, my work schedule just doesn’t allow me to learn a new discipline right now. Maybe someday...

Looks like I'm going to play if the FVSR doesn't go tits up on extraction again.

How many people are regulars at this event? Does there seem to be more people in base or open class?

I have attended the last 2 matches, there are more open class rifles I think there was only 1 base class at the last match. Lots of chassis rifles. It is fun, but it seems like you change positions a lot in each stage which uses up time quickly.
