I am looking at these guns and wondered if anyone has any experience with them? Most of the stuff you find on the web i have a hard time trusting. Thanks in advance for any info.

Honestly most of my DI guns are mouse farts compared to like my .308 N6. I think it shoots a bit flatter, but that could have been the comp on it more than the gas system. I have a Key Mount on it now for whenever my cans get approved, so I can compare to my BCM next time I shoot (whenever that may be...)Thanks! What is the recoil impulse like versus DI? Let's face it .223 is not a heavy hitter but i am curious.
Are you asking about specific brand? Or PWS/PCC style guns in general?
My 9mm AR/SBR w/4.5” barrel is just more giggles per round than a fella ought to be allowed.

I personally believe an AR style 9mm pistol suppressed is 2nd only to a suppressed .22lr for craps and giggles.

PWS is a brand that makes rifles and PCCs.
I'd buy this one: https://www.ar15.com/forums/Equipme...23-Wylde-Great-deal-1250-shipped-/21-1857301/
Then get the appropriate MLOK rail from PWS for like $100 and then shoot the balls off of it.
I dont think the PWS PCC is going to be piston gun - per their website: "The PWS PCC uses a straight blowback system...."That is damn good looking rifle huh? I want a PCC first. I have a couple of AR's and was thinking about my options. I was listening to a Primary and Secondary podcast about PWS and it got me thinking about them. They are lighter than a 416 and have a long stoke piston that supposedly smooths out the recoil impulse. You get the reliability of a piston gun. I had never really thought about them before listening to the podcast.
Personally I think the look of the Colt style is more appealing in looks for sure but I have a trunk load of factory Glock 17 and factory 33 round fun sticks which are run and drop free so damn reliably (not sayin Colt isn’t as reliable) I chose Glock style.Yea the PCC is not a piston gun. I started looking at them as a comparison to a 416 clone but then saw they had PCC's and their precises are good. The mag well is made for a 9mm mag, not a 5.56. IM torn on whether to get a PCC that excepts glock mags or colt.
It's the mag angle. Same reason I don't have a Glock AR9 PCC (but have a G17 and G19 and would likely get a Ruger PC9). I went with the Colt pattern lower and after the initial magazine investment, I am glad I did. Not like I have an 33 round Glock mags either nor do I shoot my Glocks enough to want 33 rounders.Yea, i am not sure what my hang up is with Glock mags. Ryan at Apex had a bunch of Colt steel mags and those things just looked solid.
