Sprayed it with Rustoleum gray high heat 2000° primer.

Swapped some of the furniture from black to gray, and just waiting on a couple other pieces to arrive.

View attachment 124376 HK 21 from Tarheel State Firearms(Thanks Scott). Upgraded to HK 21E and refined by TSC Machine(Thanks Mike and Tammy). Any marks are just camera flash :)
Just one more reminder I need to get down there and shoot. :D

I was really interested in this a while back and was a little confused on the options. The usual route is to buy it without a stock as a pistol, and enjoy it while waiting on the SBR stamp. At least based off their website, it kind of seemed like the pistol version _couldn't_ accept a stock, so the only way was to order it as an SBR and wait for the much longer tax stamp. How did you get yours?

You can buy a bracket/adapter that you can place on the pistol variant, but usually the pistol versions are lightweight models.

Best route is to buy the 16” and stamp it. Once the stamp is approved, buy a barrel off of IMA since they closely replicate originals, and send the gun off to John Andrewski for the swap. His work is well known with Thompsons. If you’re looking to pick up a Thompson, I can get you a killer deal. Message me for details if interested! Or check the “Hot Deals” portion of the forums, I made a recent post there.

Yes but then I've got to get the Form 1 done, then the barrel shortened, then a can... It's a viscous cycle.
New to the gun world? It’s always never ending haha. Wait... why would you be putting a fan on a Thompson? That’s sacrilegious! As for the barrel, it’s a simple swap. You’d have to buy another barrel since they are profiled differently and aren’t a simple cut down. It’s well worth it, I’ve done it twice. The Thompson is one gun that I can honestly say that I enjoy shooting most and most of my friends are fighting to call dibs on it if I ever go to sell it when that day comes (if it ever does) to own a real deal.

Not putting a fan on it... That'd be just plain crazy. It's a CAN...

Where's the video with some 147s?
It’ll make its maiden voyage to the VOD shoot on Saturday. Anybody that wants to shoot it is welcome to give it a run.

I did actually shoot a mag or two through it right when I first bought it last June, but that was just to make sure it wasn’t DOA.

can’t wait to see the video!

My brother in law shooting my two stamper. This is the Omega Guns OM9-SD. It is a true SD with the ported barrel. If you are interested in one and don’t want to pay all up front, I’m friends with their VP and can get you on a six month payment option. Also, if you are/were military, I can get you a discount provided you have proof of service of some sort. I’ll have to double check to see if this same discount can be applied to first responders as well. (This discount applies to all models, the SD, full sized, K, etc.) C303B733-425D-431C-9044-92FF855D83CA.jpeg

These were my last 3 stamps and I think I’m done with NFA purchases as I hate the wait and Scott is giving up his SC SOT the first of July :(

Mine and my brothers were early Oct 2018. He picked up 2 Mac 10’s and 3 suppressors.

Anyone know the current wait time?
Bought a can in October, ATFASSHATS day they started paperwork early November
No consistency.

Mine that was approved less than a month ago was from July 2018. Compare that to @Tobrooks and his that were submitted several months later.

And there’s also people waiting on forms from several months before mine was submitted.

Still waiting for my July cans but there are much longer waits being reported on AR15.com

I think I'm catching up!
It wouldn’t be too hard...I’ve definitely slowed down. Heck, the next two approved won’t really count, as they’re moving from me to my trust. :D
