Well, I had a table at this weekend’s Columbia Fairgrounds gun show and brought home a new toy!

A Remington 341P 22LR, tube fed, bolt action rifle. Build in May of 1936. That was the 4th month of production of this model. The 341 was made from 1936 - 1940. About 136K were produced but only 10% were the P model with the target peep sights. This one is just about immaculate. It was calling to me! Cost me $250. Gonna be heading to the range as soon as the rain stops.

How does it shoot?
Don't know. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. The rear peep sight was not the correct original. It actually was a Marlin sight. I found an original and will install it before I shoot it.

I'd do the same. Those early era peeps are quite good and usually very well made.
