There are some good people here on CFF. But one person stands out a little above the others ,at least he does to me. This guy goes out of his way to do things for others wanting nothing in return. There are quite a few of you that have benefited from his kindness and generosity .I needed some ammo not only did he get it and paid for it . I said I would send him a check but he said no. Pay me when you pick it up. I've seen and heard of him doing similar things for others also wanting nothing in return. That's why when his wife asked for my help in getting some of his friends together for a surprise birthday party I jumped at the chance to do something for him. By now some of you know who I'm talking about . It's Jeppo. What a guy .CFF is lucky to have such a fine person as a member on this forum. Need I say more ? Nope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . I'm sure he will not agree with me but I just can't thank him enough for what he does to help me and others out. It's a privilege to call Jeff my friend.

Awesome...…....and just one more reason that I'm thankful to be one small part of this internet site. It's the great people on here that care for each other and don't mind putting some skin in the game for us to get stronger as a firearms forum group.

It's always humbling to find out just how far quite a few of our awesome members will go when the time comes to get real and actually DO SOMETHING to help other people.

Every single time I hear about the hearts of our people opening up for others I'm reminded of our friend SlayerNut. Life is good I tell ya...……...life is good.

The way he treated that Trapdoor demonstrates he’s really just a stupid dick! ;)

@Jeppo? Never heard of him.

Yeah, Jeff is one of the good ones.

AS I was reading your intro, Jeppo came to my mind. Turns out I was right.
They don't get any better than him.
In my limited experience with dealing with him, I knew he was for real.

Jeff drives a, a, a, MINI??!!
Oh my, I may have to rethink my utmost respect for him.
At least knock it down to just pure respect.
I mean a friggen Mini???
Isn't that the car that snowflakes embrace for their national campaign?

If he put a 350 V8 in it then we would like him again. :rolleyes:

Thanks so much but enough!
You guys do know I’m still alive, right?
Save it for my eulogy. o_O

My FIL used to say "don't send me flowers after I'm dead if you didn't send'em when I was alive". Works the same with words.
Well, then, we fulfilled your request!
WE've been "sending" the words while you are alive and well!

See? Your very words.
So I guess flame-on again?

Well, I've not yet met @Jeppo , but I feel that I must point out that before it became 'civilized', the Mini was the undisputed king of the gymkhana (autosports version, that is). I don't know how (or if) any of this applies to the man himself, but I do look forward to meeting this legendary Member.

He gets to practice maneuvers on his driveway every time he goes somewhere.

So, the platitudes died out and the swelling in my head has begun to subside. :cool:

I had an experience the other day I wanted to share. I received a PM asking for my shipping address. The distant member said he had a “trinket” he thought I could use. I supplied my coordinates and thanked the gentleman for his kindness; all the while wondering what he had in mind.

Yesterday, the BIG BROWN TRUCK arrived with a carton. The contents are shown below. Shoved down inside was a note. I’ll paraphrase it so as not to hint at the generous and thoughtful sender. “...I figured you could give the holster a good home”.

I’ve only met this fellow once, very briefly. I can’t imagine how he knew I own numerous guns that fit this stunning holster.

To him and most of the rest of yuze guys, you’re the best!!!!! :D

Nice holster and a very nice gesture. And, I like to enclose a personal note when I send a member something.
@Burt Gummer @Chdamn @Ikarus1

He's offered to pick up some ammo for little ol' me as well.
I'm glad I finally got to meet ya at the M&G Jep.
And thanks.

Prepare for a big disappointment.
<---- Yeah, I see what you mean.

Just don't let him near you with a camera. Apparently, he likes the "candid" shots.
