Drag the coals from the fire for cooking. Kind of a dual purpose pit. Plus it’s a conversation starter.

I think the main advantage over your store bought ones is everythingI’ve seen those advertised, and have wondered what the big deal is. Sounds pretty cool!
I meant the SOLO... Or is that what you were referring to?
Last I saw the gent that makes them still had a bunch left.We have a burn barrel....but I kick myself for never getting one of those firebowls made every time I see someone posting a pic. However I found an older smaller maybe 50-100lb propane tank washed down the creek on our property yesterday so......I have a use for it.
Maybe a 'mini' firebowl
I was referring to the plain old gas-bottle-bottom Firebowls which used to be sold or carried by a forum member I think. I have a welder friend, so maybe I could convince him to make a huge rocket stove instead
What’s with the side “hallway looking thing?”Going to cook some venison sausage over some coals tonight.

I went by about a year ago and Earl gave me a tour of the place, he had many fire bowls stacked high.Although I made my own from an old 500 gallon propane tank, the old guy that makes a lot of these is located on Deep River Road on the north side of Sanford. He is not on the forum but several members here have purchased from him.
Here is a link to one of the threads with the manufacturer’s contact info. I really like the smaller bowl in some of the pix. Mine is a dozen or so posts down in the thread.

Where did you get the grill? I could use something like that in mine.
