Do the SO's stay with one squad from stage to stage or do they have SO's that work just one stage and stay there for this match?

They haven't really said yet(probably because I haven't asked) but at every sanctioned match I have shot, the SOs had one or two stages that they stayed with throughout the match.

Per the MD...

"SOs will be assigned to a single stage/bay for the entire match. This approach provides greater uniformity and consistency in stage management and penalty assessments."

That's a 'shotgun start.' It's up to the shooters to make sure they shoot all the stages since they don't follow an SO from stage to stage. Makes the match run quicker, too, at least from my experience, since you can shoot stages out of order to get around bottlenecks.

Makes sense to me. I had just asked the MD about that since about four of the people I axed to squad with are all SO's who will remain stationed at one stage.

That Avatar ain't working, buddy.

7 spots left and forms have to be mailed in and received by Saturday next week to shoot.

It'll cost you to hear that story. Stuff like that don't come cheap.

Few people know this, but Elvis actually helped develop "personal service corporations" back in the 1950s, setting up different corps for different ventures. But he insisted they all be on the cash basis, as he despised the accrual basis of accounting. In fact he wrote a song about it - "Don't Be Ac-crual!"

Look at you...trying to be punny.

Ha! So you are Elvis huh? You?

I can believe that.

After all, I am Napoleon.
You can just call me his Emperness.

Not me. Last time I swiveled my hips like that, three grandmothers and a nun in the next county fainted.

Is there any notification that you're in the match? Sent registration and check weeks ago and have heard nothing. Hate to rent a room and show up to find I'm not registered.

Anybody up for meeting somewhere Friday night for dinner?

Amp, this is why you are so well liked in all the competitive shooting circles. You have your priorities in order.

1) Where are we eating.
2) What are we eating.
3) When are we eating.
4) Can we get on with this match? Lunch is waiting!

Good. Where are we eating breakfast? :D
They have what resembles a breakfast buffet in the lobby. We shoot at 8 so I'm thinking might have to eat with some haste.
There's a McArnolds, then a Boh-Hang-Lays as my mexican buddy calls it, just down the street.

Wish I could join you guys, but won't be getting in 'til Saturday morning.

The breaking of bread amongst the brotherhood of sporting shooters is a sacred and time honored tradition.
Plus if you're not there, who knows what we'll say about you.
But, because you shoot better than 95% of us, if you can't make it, we'll get you a take out.
:D

Haha - you're too kind!
