Anybody using Propylene Glycol in their humidors? Years ago I had some that I had to mix with water and use a dropper to put it on the "green stuff" that come in the humidor. Them I went to Boveda 72% RH-2 packs that did not last.
Now I am using humidor beads that I have to keep adding water more that I thought I would have to. Is anybody adding propylene glycol with humidor beads?

Pre mixed solution is 50/50. Make sure you use distilled water. Also, don't forget that as you recharge, over time, the solution becomes higher with PG as the distilled water evaporates. So, if you find that you are having difficulty keeping the humidity that the beads are designed for, you may have to replace them. Also try charging with just DW to even out the ratio.
