2019 model.
Been shopping for over a year, finally found one in the budget.
Dump bed & power steering.
I have a OEM roof and windshield on order.

It will be used to haul chainsaw, firewood and cruise around the range. Plenty of cupholders.
It drives like a golf cart, feels under powered.
No one will mistake it for a sport machine.
I have had a 2007 Honda Rincon for years and Honda used the same engine & tranny in the Pioneer. One is 500lbs, the other is 1500lbs so you can guess it's not real peppy. The pioneer is geared slightly lower.

I'm not thrilled with the color but the price was too good to pass. The only color is the hood area and the panel is easily removed. I plan to use that peel off type paint on it.
AutoZone has a great selection and it holds up on wheels, so the hood shouldn't be an issue.

I drove a Pioneer with four souls on board last weekend, went up a mountain in Virginia on a narrow road with lotsa erosion, just ate it up like nuthin'! Tried out the 4wd with and without locked diff, did fine everywhere we went.

Spent the afternoon riding, found out it's a little bit wider than the Rincon. Gonna have to take out a few small trees on a couple trails.
I had it up to 45mph, no problem. Rides decent. The suspension is adjustable, so maybe play with it a little once things break in.
I LOVE the power steering!!
There are few rattles that I need to fix and I need to gut the spark arrestor.
The paddle shifters are fun. I like using them hauling arse on the private road.
I think it will fit my needs really well.

Only Chris gets a ride. It's too far of a hop down the hill.

I've got a broken toe at the moment, so I'm limping around... and I have two squirrels in the freezer. Damn, I'm half way to Chris at this point. I'm just a bucket of racism and an ND into my truck short of the whole package.

Winning!

I'm going to have to drink a few beers in order to understand what you wrote above...

I won't speak of it in an open forum, Chris could be a member. One of the squirrel eatin' kin might have themselfs some book learnin' and can rustle up an internet connection while at Agri Supply and be on here.

Screenshot_20200210-054742.png Installed the roof and windshield on Saturday.
Not happy with the windshield fit. I think they sent me the incorrect parts.
It's Honda OEM, so I expected better.
I'm going to make a stink with Honda customer care and the stealership and see what happens.

I'm realizing that the accessory market for these things is crazy. (And crazy $)

Slacker let me have a turn at the wheel.

Neat.

I needed both hands for the bourbon....

I was able to drink and drive at the same time. Mad skillz.
Next time we need to add high powered firearms to this deal....and maybe some dynamite.

Roof, windshield, seat covers, rollbar storage and floor mat installed. Accessories for this thing are worse than an AR15.

I’m on the fence selling my utv because i want power steering. I’ve thought about adding an after market kit but I don’t want to take it anywhere nor can I put it on myself. That’s where I’m at right now lol.

My one complaint so far is the rear differential is locked and it tears things up.
Wish I had turf mode (one wheel drive) to drive on the lawn.

Did u only look at the Honda? Or did you look at the Yamaha, Polaris Etc??

Just curious.

I'm a Honda 1st, Yamaha 2nd kind of guy. They are pretty much bulletproof.
Polaris Rangers have came a long way...but I'm not too fond of Polaris...but that's just me

I'm poor and will envy your Honda. Nice machine sir! Lol

I looked at both the Honda and Yamaha.
I like them both. The Yammy is belt drive but it has a 10yr warranty on the belt vs the automotive style tranny in the Honda.

The Yammy is wider, faster and more powerful. None of those things were important to me. It did take top marks for interior comfort and quality. Very car like.
It is about 1k $ more than the Honda.

In the end, it came down to the engine and tranny plus price and warranty.
The Honda uses a bullet proof engine and tranny that I am very familiar with since
It was in my old Rincon.

I would not have purchased a Polaris...
Nor do I own any Lorcins.

Thanks for that info. I knew the Yam use a cvt belt and had a 10 yr warranty.....seems most seem to actually like it from the reviews I've watching YouTube.

If price was the same.....would you still have chosen the Honda over Yamaha?
Maybe one day I'll have some land and can get me one......

Until then... still envying you and others with this cool equipment...lol

If price was the same I still would have bought the Honda due to it's narrower width, engine and tranny and resale value.

It’s hard to go wrong with a Honda. I have a 2014 foreman that has never let me down. The machine I’ve been eyeballing for around the house work is the mahindra roxor. Diesel engine with 5 speed. They are awesome but start at around 18k last time I looked.

Decided to mount a Bluetooth speaker to the rollbar rather than buy a true sound bar.
I envisioned myself getting lit, draining the battery and walking home.
I'm very happy with the Bluetooth speaker.
It sounds amazing and doubles as a usb power pack. Plus I use it on my tractor and when I'm at my range.
The rollbar mount also doubles as a fire extinguisher holder.
