One of the ladies that works for me is always trying to leave work early or RIGHT on time (yeah, that's never an option) because she has to go home and do her son's homework so he doesn't fail his senior year...
I try telling her that's not exactly the right way to go about things... but she's not interested in having him be a burden on her and wants him to graduate so he can go get a job and move out (she's already caregiver for her mom).
In her defense, she does make sure that her son copies everything over in his own writing...
Look, kid Im discussing has autism, which is a social thing and the kid def has some social skill problems.
BUT he's also VERY smart, in fact he's listed as AIG.
But one day I gave them a simple assignment and he just wasnt working. I said, "Dude, this is 15 minutes, get it done now and no homework"
He replied with, "I have too much homework, I'll do it at home"
"yeah, but you do it now and you dont HAVE to do it at home"
"But it's easier at home"
"Why?"
"Grandmother tells me what to write and I write that"
This week in another class he turned in a major assignment in gma handwriting and tried to lie and say it looks different because he used ink. lol
KId is a habitual liar and, due to his increased intelligence, has figured out the game...at least at home. Just dont do it and they'll do it for you.
