What do y’all do with the water from wet stainless tumbling? I am using this to clean suppressor baffles and brass.

I put it down the house drain, it probably has a bit of lead and maybe some mercury and antimony in it, but probably as solids and not dissolved. I boil off the “dip” I use for suppressor baffles, but there is way too much water volume to do that for brass cleaning.

Anybody else? I don't have a ton of waste water because I don't do a lot of tumbling. But I'm thinking about trying to evaporate the water and bag the solids for the hazardous waste dropoff. I definitely do not use the dip.

Better yet, run the water thru a Katadyne or Brita and use it to water your flowers

Mine goes down the drain since I rinse in my large kitchen sink. Ideal? No, but I don’t think I’m killing anything by doing this either.

It's downhill to his yard, it'll get there directly!

Seriously......there's more lead in pipes connected to old water systems than there probably is in wet tumbling waste. What do you guys think water treatment plants do?
Ask the people in Flint.
