I am pleased to have traded for two revolvers modified by Sharps40.

The Ruger is a very tight revolver, and a joy to shoot. Mebbe @Sharps40 can chime in here, but I believe this is what he did for it:

fitted Bisley hammer
shortened to 4"
replaced front sight base and added horsey
replaced ejector rod and housing
added Two Feathers grips, dunno if he replaced grip frame.

The Hammerli is also a great chooter, with a crisp, light trigger. I think he said the Hammerli was a repair/refurbish, with barrel shortening to 4". The parts are all what it came with. I wonder what held him back on that'n? ;)

He does very nice work. You can follow along as he builds them over on NC Hunt & Fish. I enjoy following his projects.

The grip frame on the ruger is the steel 2005 anniversary. I wanted to get rid of all the aluminum on it. The hammerli was my knocking around gun accounting for some snakes while out and about.

I like the hood ornanament! Reminds me of the Cadillac's i see rolling around durham:cool: seriously though, great looking guns.
